WELL PACKED & GOOD VALUE @ £ 84.00
Arrived early tested out ok apart from DUD BULB ( seller chasing up replacement. Well finished..not too noisey..replcement for BLANCO ..which had lasted over 30 years !....not sure this will give same service ...time will tell ..happy at this stage..not fitted as yet or used for prolonged period of time...

The most substantial of several models I have tried.I actually returned my hood, as I had been unaware before purchase, that the extractor outlet is centrally exhausted, and I required an offset outlet.I was though very happy with the quality of the product, the prompt and helpful service throughout.I have no reservations about giving this a ***** rating.

Avoid buying!
I never post a review but this time I felt compelled to do so. I fitted this extractor fan, what is relatively easy and reasonably well set out in the manual. But now it comes: when you open the cooker hood there are large openings on the side allowing unfiltered air to reach the motor. Also the way the foam filter is fitted, not allowing to be properly kept in place around the periphery means a lot of unfiltered air will end up inside the housing potentially effecting the motor. When I switched the fan on, on position three the noise is at a level you can not communicate in the kitchen anymore, position two is fine and position one was faulty - leaving me with a rattling noise. No surprise I will dismantle it and send it back not to be replaced. Not worth the money or the effort!

I would not recommend, it’s so noisy, just opening the hood it’s like finger nails across a blackboard, it screeched on opening and feels very flimsy. I had to lubricate the sides just to stop the noise. This has reduced the screeching somewhat but I would not buy again. I think 2 stars is justified.

Extractor unit
Good value for money if you dont mind building without instructions. Measurements quoted were spot on, enabling very good fit into available space. Found filter plate to be too flexible to operate light,....... so used the plate from the broken unit (worked perfectly) because it was a better fit and more robust. Good service--delivered in 2 days.
