Gigaset A220A TRIO - Basic Cordless Home Phone with Answer Machine and Speakerphone - 3 Handsets, Black

My main gripe about these phones is that the sound quality is usually quite 'mushy'. Having said that, they are a decent price and have some really useful features, including:- Answering service with (I think) 30 mins recording capacity- Good battery life (NOTE: apparently you do need to completely charge and then discharge the batteries at first, to get the best performance)- Three handsets- Ability to save regularly-used numbers in the contacts list- Intercom feature. (Because we both work from home, we actually use this feature most of all, more than we use these phones for incoming/outgoing phonecalls. "Hello [insert term of endearment here], I think you'll find it's your turn to make a cup of tea...")- Ability to listen to incoming phonecalls from multiple handsets at the same time (although we haven't tried this feature yet.)- Speakerphone ability, so you can get on with typing or making a meal (or whatever) if you're on hold- Good 'roaming' range, so you can take the handset out to the gardenI deliberately bought Gigaset because the phones in our previous house were the same brand, and worked really well for 12 years.

Very hard to follow instructions for these phones and I’m not thick as I am normally very good at setting things up. Had them quite awhile now and still struggle with instructions and had turned my answer machine off as it was useless

3 phones for that price can't be bad. The answer machine is in the phones.As usual the base units could be heavier.If I could have bought a better one, with the proper answer machine, then that is what I would get. I'm happy anyway.

Simply to fix up, probably because we were replacing a faulty dect phone. The instruction were difficult to read. Having set the phone up, we found the ring was not very loud. When I eventually found how to adjust the volume I found it was already at full volume - not impressed. So far I have been unable to change the ring tone which is frustrating. The instructions are in very small print, which I found difficult to read and my eyesight is reasonably good! Please make to font larger!!!!

Purchased a triple handset model. The Instruction Manual is probably the best I,ve ever ha' It doesn't presume that you are a technocrat!! and being an OAP I found it excellent. Too early to really comment on sound quality and battery life but I do not expect Bose quality. It makes calls, receives calls and the answerphone works. Need I say more. Would give it the highest recommendation. I did have a technical question because I failed to read the instruction manual correctly and called the sellers customer service, 10 out of 10 to them. Answered my question in 30 seconds. I will send follow up review after I have used it for a couple of months. Much better than any BT product I have had.

I find this is okay, it wasn't expensive, so can't expect elite phone. Sound not as loud as I was hoping for, read other reviews which said sound loud and clear, but again fine for the cost. Small compact hand sets and chargers.

Bought to replace a similar set that had stopped working. This set lacks the flashing light that alerts you when someone has left a message (you just get a message on the screen instead, which in our house often goes unseen for a day or two!) but otherwise it's great.

I love these phones alway replace with the Same make very durable and sturdy do the job I have had giga set phones for years
