Not as sweet
I bought this for personal use (yes I know 3kg worth). It came in a heavy duty bag in a box that was packaged well in a heavy duty plastic bag and I emptied this into three 1kg containers. Eating one or two a day I went through 2kg within several months and still have some left as it tailed off. The gobstoppers themselves are light sweet flavours for my taste but do the job and at the right size, just remember then Americans call them jaw breakers and you will have to resist the urge on trying to crunch them. The price works out about the same as buying other sweets, I needed a slow release sweet to stop dryness due to medication side effects and they helped there but then so does sipping on a drink. I found them not too sweet, light in fact on flavour, so if you have a sweet tooth, this may be a consideration for you. I bought these for £19.45 and more than 3 years on they have remained moe o less the same price going for £20.00

Gobstoppers 3KG!
Happy with the gobstoppers I brought 3kg. Only black, yellow and red arrived and they are way to big for my retro vending machine but still a good product. No gum in the middle and don’t change colour if your wondering.

Sometimes the Kingsway rum balls ingredients say they are made with hazlenuts, these arrived with an ingredient list showing peanuts. They taste okay of rum. They arrived in a bag with no brand details and had an identical label to rum balls from the Candy Cabin, so either Kingsway and Candy Cabin are the same company, or these are a generic knock-off.

they’re great. the picture may not be completely accurate because i already ate some haha. i got the 500g bag. have to say though they’re pretty pricy but not that bad. would buy again for sure

Reasonable Value For Money
Ordered 500g bag which equates to 67 gobstoppers for £5.24. So buying bulk was reasonable value compared to my local Sweet Emporium which sells bags of 10 for £1. (Used to buy them from the local market stall for 5p each, so not such good value compared to that though.)Nice to suck on at work as it stops me from nibbling on other things. Trouble is I now eat far too many, and end up with a sore mouth as a result!

For anybody buying these don't expect a flavour as such, like they aren't say bubblegum flavour or whatever. However they do have a subtle flavour that is actually really nice and isn't overpowering. It takes about 20 mins to finish one, which is quite good considering it's size. The delivery was reasonably quick and they came in a strong bag which was inside a cardboard box. I would definitely recommend these. I will most likely be buying more soon
