Letraset ProMarker Manga Set No.2, Expansion Pack (12 Colours and Free Blender)

I just started drawing manga, and this is a great set, for beginners. I love that you have 2 tips, so you outline and fill it really easy. A lot of colours, be careful when shading because the ink can bleed through the paper, it might be my paper. But I'm super happy with this set, I might buy another set, because the variety of colours are pretty good! The eyes I drew, I know there are markings under the brown ones, because when I drew the blue ones, I folded the paper, and the ink bled through a little, so beware. But yes they're really fun and useful! Definitely recommend!

These are brilliant quality and a great choice for professional artists and those still on their way. The range of colours is amazing and having different packs, like manga, neutral and so on make them very flexible with a wide diversity of uses. Once used, you don't go back to the cheaper alternatives.

Exactly what I expected

I was a bit disappointed as these came out when I searched "watercolour markers", which these are not, these are alcohol markers.Ok, could argue I should have made sure these were in fact what I was looking for, but I thought I might keep them as alcohol markers so I checked the colours on a pad and 2/12 markers were actually dried out! So even if I were looking for alcohol markers I wouldn't keep these. You're better off with Copic or Finecolour.

Not sure why but I have received TWO sets of Letraset Promarker Manga pens. Confusion probably occurred when I tried to order a further gift. I have returned the second set.

Essential pens for manga art. Excellent blending quality. Great packs available so you don't ever double up on pens. Complimenting colours and worth the money.

These pens are brilliant, lovely colours. You just have to be careful because the colour does seep the page, great for colouring large areas as well as fine

Great pens...bought for my daughter who loves sketching anime! They bleed nicely with each other and they've helped her produce some great drawings!

Ce ne sont pas des marqueur a preter au enfant mais plutot a garder précieusement. Mais bon jenpardonne tout de meme tous ca par leur incroyable qualiter, les marqier sont homogène et rend un travaille professionnels

Ich verwende Letraset-Produkte seit Jahrzehnten. Die Firma hat im graphischen Gewerbe Maßstäbe gesetzt, sowohl von der Qualität her, als auch vom professionell und innovativ entwickelten Graphikbedarf. Im Computerzeitalter gibt sich in der Gebrauchsgraphik niemand mehr z.B. mit Schraffurfolien ab. Letraset hat aber immer noch einen Markt. Ich habe z.B. die farblaserbedruckbaren Transparentfolien für Prototypenerstellung in Gebrauch, und jetzt diese Stifte.Hintergrund für meinen Kauf dieser Stifte: Ich wollte für das händische Erstellen von Graphiken einen Satz Marker mit zusammenpassenden Farben. Dafür gibt es im Internet zahlreiche Tools. Ein Monitor produziert RGB-Farben. Üblicherweise rechnet man eine Ausgangsfarbe in den HSV- oder HSL-Farbraum um, rotiert, und rechnet zurück. Was habe ich davon? Ich kann in solchen Farben keine Stifte kaufen.Dieser Satz von 12 Farben passt perfekt zusammen. Das Beispielbild wurde nicht nur mit den reinen Farben erstellt, dafür gibt's ja als 13. Stift einen Blender. Lege artis passt das offenbar auch gemischt zusammen, aber die reinen Farben reichen für meine Zwecke. Der Blender kommt für Glanzlichter, Farbverläufe, etc. zum Einsatz.Letraset bietet eine ganze Menge an solchen "Erweiterungssets" an. Für gerade dieses - Manga - habe ich mich entschieden, weil es einen Hautton dabei hat, und m.E. für Ideogramme sehr gut geeignet ist.Die Twin-Tip Promarker sind anscheinend eine abgespeckte Version der Tria-Marker mit 3 Spitzen, für meine Zwecke aber voll ausreichend, da ich damit nur schwarz oder grau vorgezeichnete Flächen farbig ausfüllen möchte. Dabei ist Vorsicht geboten, weil man leicht die Vorzeichnung (und die Stifte) verschmiert, wenn die für die Vorzeichnung verwendeten Stifte nicht geeignet sind. Ich habe das Problem nicht, weil ich so arbeite, dass ich meine Vorzeichnungen kopiere, und dann koloriere. So muss ich eine gute Vorzeichnung nicht wegwerfen, wenn mich das Endresultat nicht befriedigt.
