They were a little too tall and a tad bit too wide to fit nicely in my humidifier. But I was able to squish them in and they work as expected to wick the water. The value for the current price is way better than buying a single filter at the store. That and it's become near impossible to find these in stores near me, so this makes it way more convenient to get 4 of these at this price versus only 2. I find they last a comparable amount of time to any other filter, which is more dependent on your water and your usage.

Overall, this is a decent quality filter. It outputs about the same amount of humidity as the name brand filters (based on amount of water used from the tank). The height is the same as the name brand filters. It is important, just as with any other brand filter, to make sure it stays wet. Once you allow it to dry out, it will barely work anymore. You should be able to get at least a couple weeks on these filters before the performance degrades or things start growing on it, whereas with the name brand filters, I was getting about a month with proper care.

New vs not new in the photos…about 60 days old.I tend to keep the fan on longer than necessary because I’m afraid of mold accumulating from it being too damp.Turns out these filters are legit & catch a lot of gross stuff from the air/water.Imagine my surprise when I went to change the filter out. YuckGood deal & cheaper than the original filters

These wicks are a little different from the default type that come with the Honeywell HCM-350, in that they seem a little more 'papery' and flatter than the OEM type, but that said they do the job. I find that with most wicks I have to replace them about once every 1.5 months, with a rinse-through every day. I don't use the humidifier every single day, but when I am not using it I try to make sure the wick dries out completely and is not just sitting in water. We don't have particularly hard water but over time it definitely leaves a bit of an orange cast on the side of the wick that is facing upwards and drying out. These do as good a job of evaporation as the OEM wicks, and they are a good value for a pack of 4.

The filter did not wick the water up and stayed completely dry other than the very bottom. The bottom then grew red bacteria after just a couple of days
