4.9 - One of their best products yet!
I have been a big fan of TOPGO products for awhile now. As a usual user of Otterbox cases for my phones, they’re one of the few companies that make mounts capable of holding the width and thickness of these cases. And that is my only complaint about this mount. I currently have an iPhone XR with a slim case and a PopSocket on the back. While the arms of the Phone Holder are wide enough, they’re not quite deep enough to hold the phone super securely with the PopSocket in the closed position. Or maybe it’s that it needs some sort of lip on the front to keep the phone from sliding forward? The “feet” of the holder, while adjustable on some other TOPGO products, are not on this model. All that being said, because the mount can be tilted back, it’s workable and seems to be secure enough to hold the phone just fine in regular driving conditions. Whether in portrait or landscape mode, turning the direction of the phone is probably the easiest adjustment to make while in use.The top grip - Out of the box, the top portion of the mount (that connects to the rearview mirror) is upside down. I actually thought at first it wasn’t going to fit my super deep mirror with electric, programmable buttons. Once I figured it out (and that the arms actually pull out to increase the depth) it fit perfectly and securely. I don’t use the buttons on the mirror but if you do, it may be something to consider as it seems the bracket actually sits right on top of a couple of them. While mounted, the mirror is still easily adjustable to the positions I need.Retractable Arm - In the manufacturer’s video, it seems the 360 degree rotation is super smooth and simple. While smooth, I wouldn’t call it simple as you have to loosen the knob and retighten when you have it where you want it. Adjustment is something you don’t want to be doing while driving - if you need to adjust, you’ll have to pull over. But once you have it in the desired position, it seems to hold very securely.Extension Arm - There is a button on the back of the arm that will allow you to move the phone closer to the bottom of the mirror, or farther down towards your dashboard. An easier move than the retractable arm and potentially safe to do while driving depending on conditions.TOPGO included a handy charging cord as well. One end is USB (my car is old and only has Bluetooth for calls, not audio like music so I have to use USB) and the other end has 3 options for input: lightning, USB-C and I don’t know what the other is for.I picked this mount because nothing fits in my 2010 Nissan Altima. The vents are puny and in the wrong place. The dashboard is textured and I didn’t want a permanent sticky mount. The windshield is angled so that any mount put there would be too far away for me to reach the screen of my phone while driving. I got this mount to replace two others by TOPGO, cup holder mounts, both the gooseneck and the JC1 Pro Version. Neither of those held my phone high enough so I had to look down at it while driving. And they both put my phone in the way of my gear shift which is directly in front of the cup holders. This mount keeps the phone perfectly in view, close enough to touch and out of the way of my gear shift, vents, radio screen/buttons, and air conditioning controls. All that to say, this is one of the best phone holders I’ve ever had. And trust me, I’ve tried them all. If you have any of the problems I’ve described here with past holders, this one is probably the answer you’ve been looking for. TOPGO has great customer service and great products. And the price can’t be beat!

SOLID STURDY CONSTRUCTION
Received my TopGo Mirror Mount , and have been using it now for a week in a couple different vehicles. I have to say Way to Go TopGo. Beautifully designed. Very rugged and sturdy mount for my smartphone. Lets me position the phone in an array of positions for optimum viewing of my phone. in all conditions. I've used it in my car and my truck. The mount has a variety of positioning to accommodate the smallest and largest of windshield and mirrors. I give this mount a 5 star, very pleased all around.

A perfect product... almost
The media could not be loaded. TLDR: overall this is a great product, ESPECIALLY for the price, though it could use some refinement. What I like: this is probably one of the best solutions I have found for phone mounting. It has an extremely high level of adjustability... You can adjust about everything you could imagine. I love that it keeps my cup holders free, it's not a suction cup that falls all the time, and it's not an adhesive that'll damage my interior. Fully extended, it holds my phone closer to eye level and yet keeps my windshield free of obstructions so I can keep my eyes closer to the road. What I'm not a fan of: when the arm is not extended fully, and when it is in any other position besides straight down, I find it blocks more of my vision than I would prefer. As the picture shows, the grab tips also interfere with my buttons on my mirror, but I can make do with it.What could be improved: not sure what causes this, but, regarding the forward backward rotation with the silver buttons, one of the positions is not very stiff and jiggles around a bit. Unfortunately. That's the position that I would prefer to have my phone in, but I can just do one of the adjacent positions and that does good enough. I'm also not a fan of this specific phone holder, specifically this style of clasp that holds my phone. They have two versions of their other products, and one of them is basically a higher quality head that allows you to adjust the sides and bottom. The grab head on this one is not very strong and it interferes with the buttons on my phone since I can't adjust the bottom. So when I put my phone on there either I press it too hard and it turns my volume down or I don't press it hard enough and it doesn't really hold in place.I know the negative parts of this review are longer than the positive, but that's really just due to the specificity of the things I dislike. Really, it's a fantastic product overall and one of my favorites that TopGo has produced.

Very satisfied
I have had the ones that go in the vents, lame, the suction ones, they fall off, even a silicone one that sits on the dash..they were all fails, but this one is great. It locks onto the back of your mirror and stays locked in.(not sure it would work with this Temperature controlled mirrors though)It adjusts from all angles, which is great and stays out of the way. The vent ones get in the way of air flow. Does not impend my sight view . Very satisfied. This is an update: still happy with the product, however “I” broke this two weeks after getting it. I snagged it on a long piece of lumber I was transporting and it flew out the window and broke. I liked it so much, I just now bought another one. The best holder I have had yet.

Not for my jeep
It was not a good fit for my mirror. Hard to get on with glass.

Mirror retainability is bad!!
The concept of this product is great but definitely has some short comings! This product worked great for about two weeks. I purchased this for work because I needed something to hold my phone while I using the GPS. So I take this product off my vehicles daily because I’m assigned different vehicles daily which exacerbated the degradation of the product. The arms that attach to the mirror are adjustable. Which is great because it can fit on just about any vehicle. However, after having to adjust the arms multiple times the arms lost their rigidity properties. Now the holder just falls off the mirrors, rendering it useless in less than 1 month of use.
