With out these a lot of things would not plug into my phone!
These extenders there many things that I could not use with my Android while it is in its protective case. Cases are thick to protect the phone but some charging cords will not plug in with out these i could not use my Dario blood glucose meter. These adapters are inexpensive,made well and last a long time and they are compatable with USB-C AND CONNECT WELL!

Shows a Device is Charging and How Close to Full It Is - Without Turning the Device On
Updated 1/28/23:I've removed a star from this item - it does what it says but I've discovered that it consistently overstates wattage by about 20%. That might be a problem for some folks.I still recommend this for the use case I outlined.Original review: ===========================================I got this since without having to turn on my devices I don't always know:1) if an item is charging or2) how charged it isThis solves that problem. Tested on my iPad and Android device and even a portable power bank. Works perfectly.Just add this to the end of an existing USB C cable. When you plug it into a device, the HIEbee USB C Extender Adapter lights up and shows the wattage that your device is taking in. That number will decrease as your device gets more charged. If you want PD to work, your cable should be PD-compliant.A very nice feature is that the HIEbee USB C Extender Adapter won't show anything when it's not charging a device. When you connect it to your device, it shows the wattage level being delivered. When you disconnect it from the device (but leave on the USB C cable), the display shows 0w (zero watts) delivered for a brief time than turns off. They thought this out.Overall, a very useful device.
