This product is actually incredible. It produced the best cake of my life and the recipe included is PERFECT!We keep bees and I used our honey in the cake. I think this made it all the better!Can't fault it, well worth the money. Happy baking!

Excellent cake tin for a beehive shaped cake
This cake tin creates a large beehive cake in two vertical halves, which when baked, need to be stuck together with butter cream to create a great looking cake. The detailing in the mould in very good, but you need to ensure that you properly fill the 'bee' detailing with mixture so that they are not lost or broken when the cake is baked.The cake tin is made of a highly non-stick material, which means that cakes baked in it come out easily without losing any of the detailing from the mould. Pre-greasing with butter is useful, or the various sprays that are also recommended.Washing is relatively simple, and whilst it will go in the dishwasher, I don't know whether this will adversly impact the excellent non-stick over extended periods.Overall, this is an excellent cake pan with good non-stick finish.

Defects
There were some defects on the tin when it arrived. The seller offered to exchange the item but it wouldn't have arrived in time to make my daughter's birthday cake, so I had no choice but to keep the defective tin. Tins of this make are normally of fantastic quality.
