As such it’s a large, heavy item and you will need sufficient space to store it in the bathroom or other location. You scoop the magnesium flakes into the bathwater and then soak in it.The bio-science is inconclusive, but it’s accepted that magnesium is a vital mineral for health and especially for good immune system function. Modern city lifestyles, stress and processed food can lead quickly to Mg depletion. Soaking in MgCl2 flakes is certainly therapeutic & relaxing and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and fresh. Since we started using it a few weeks ago, we both sleep more soundly and wake up refreshed and full of energy.One caution: if you leave the lid off the bucket, the MgCl2 flakes absorb moisture from the atmosphere (especially in a bathroom where the air often is full of moisture) go hard as a rock, sitting in a pool of milky-coloured liquid. I believe you need to use it quite often say 4 times a week at least. I think its good value as its a fairly large tub. Some minerals are meant to help reduce skin ailments and improve the surface of the skin.
