Too easy for cat to get off.
Second of these I've bought. The first lasted for years. Just got a new cat so ordered the same type of collar. She had it off almost straight away. The second time it came off she was just playing on the floor and now she's been out in the garden and just come back in without it, and without the customised tag I'd added. The catch seemed to be looser on this one than the first and it's too easy for the cat to get off now. Otherwise looks very smart and is very reflective and shiny. The bell was going to drive me nuts while she was still inside, she thought it was a toy or just a nuisance so it was sending her crazy, so I took it off. Subsequently found the collar in the garden on the lawn so definitely wasn't caught on anything. I also see the old collar had a three pronged catch which could undo but was sturdier than this one. Now I know what to avoid I'll be looking for the old style clasp.Update, I tried it again and this time it lasted several days but today she's come in without it again. Maybe just the clasp on the one I got so might try the same make again.

Cat collar with bell
I didn’t ask my cat if she was comfortable wearing it. But this cooler has a proper bell on it not those stupid cheaper ones that don’t ring. Well this one rings well and very loud and my cat was terrified when l first put it of her. She ran around like a Lunc tic terrified. By the second day she has pulled it off and l found it in the garden. I don’t use it any more so it was a waste of money for me. However it was a nice collar. I think the problem was the beep it rang so loud with every movement she made. I am going to consider actually changing the bell and putting a cheaper bell that just sort of rattles. As the hole point is for it just to make a slight noise so the birds can hear her coming.

High quality but makes my cat itchy
The media could not be loaded. It is a high quality, reflective collar and my cat had no problem wearing it at first. However, after a half day she started to lick herself as you can see in the video. I think it probably makes her itchy. Now I will try to buy a different one which is 100% fabric and no leather in it. I hope it will help. This one will go into the bin which is a shame as it would be a good collar otherwise.

Best cat collar
In my opinion the safest type of collar for your cat.The catch comes off easily which is safest for your cat (even tho my cat comes home every so often minus collar) .

Comes with the crazy cat lady seal of approval!
I decided to get collars for my two-year-old cats while I waited for their microchips to be updated. I decided I wanted reflective quick-release collars with a bell, to which I could attach a separate ID tag. After a lot of research (yes, I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady), I selected these collars, which fitted the bill pretty perfectly. The cats had never worn collars before, so initially they weren't thrilled. I got them on surprisingly easily though. Female cat tried frantically to lick hers off, while male cat's strategy was to try and moonwalk out of his, and when that didn't work, to hide under the coffee table. However, after a short while they had calmed down and got used to them. I distracted them with some treats and supervised them for a while to make sure they were OK and that the collars were fitted correctly before I let them outside.Female cat has escaped from hers a few times, but each time she's been in the house, so I've been able to put it back on, which she's been very relaxed about compared to the first time! (I've never seen her do it, but I like to think that she bursts out of it like a small, furry Incredible Hulk.) They both go out and about a lot, and they're both still wearing them after two months, so my experience has so far been that they're secure enough, despite the (in my view essential) quick-release function. The International Cat Care (formerly Feline Advisory Bureau) website currently recommends that owners consider whether their cat really needs a collar, and warns of the potential dangers of collars. Collars with elastic inserts can be dangerous because apparently the cat can put his front leg through it and get stuck, which can cause injury to the cat's 'armpit' area. In my view, there is a lot of good advice on that website in relation to collars, so if you're thinking about getting one for your cat I'd recommend checking it out. After looking at their advice, I decided to go for snap-open collars, which I thought would be safest. Before fitting these, I checked the quick-release functions on both to make sure they would snap open if the cat gets caught.A cat collar isn't a fashion accessory. That said, these collars look very smart, and all without compromising the safety of my much-loved moggies. If you decide your cat needs to wear a collar, these ones are a good choice in my view. The collars are fairly big, so I think they'd only fit a fully-grown cat. My female cat has hers as tight as it will go, and I can still comfortably get two fingers underneath it.

Sturdy, durable after months of being put through its paces
So my cat is a maniac, I mean he literally eats every bird and mouse in the neighbourhood. He also loves climbing through brambles, up the palm tree and over walls. His last collar fell to bits so I bought this not only for durability but also for the bell to give wildlife a fighting chance. He has worn this for a few months now and it is good as new. The bell is still on and the amount of wildlife brought in is reduced. The reflective side is good too and I can see and hear simba from a decent distance.Good value for money and so far no complaints from us or Simba.
