Landmann 25282 Barrone Fire Pit with Weatherproof Cover

I haven't had the chance to use this properly yet but another reviewer said it was good that's why I bought it. I don't think I will need to disagree. Nice to get a big discount and quick delivery too.Packaging was excellent and the instructions clear so it was easy to unpack and assemble. It looks very attractive, well-made, solid and substantial. The initial finish is good but this will probably burn off later. The fire pit is a good size that people can sit around on a chilly evening and it comes with a spark guard, a small poker and a plastic cover for keeping out the weather when its not in use. Although it seems quite hefty to look at, it is not too heavy to pick up and put away out of the rain when not in use. Be careful with the corners they are sharp enought to puncture the cover and so could injure the unwary.May be obvious but you must only use this on a concrete, stone or earth surface. Wooden decking is out or it will burn.

Nice, solid and attractive fire pit. Its not huge but big enough for a decent warmth and for several to sit around it. We have used it to toast marshmallows several times which the kids enjoy - its almost a shame there is not a little hatch to push the skewer through as you do have to take off the lid to do so (there is a hook on a wooden handle supplied to enable this to be done). The cover seems to be quite effective - i'm not 100% sure it will last but so far so good, so it looks like it will survive outside pretty well as there is no sign on any weathering at all.

We are delighted with our fire pit. We have have used it several times this past few weeks and it has kept us warm and toasty into the early hours of the morning. A few beers, good company and our fire pit to banish the chill of our Irish summer. I spent ages looking at so many different fire pits and I am delighted with this purchase. It is large, sturdy, lots of heat out of it, looks great and has a cover.

It looks nice and is easy to assemble. However it requires 5 lb of sand and cannot be stored outside! How difficult would it be to say so in the description so that the sand can be ordered and if there is nowhere suitable to store it then a better product can be selected.

Saw an identical one at friends in Los Angeles in the summer, and was impressed with the idea, so thought 'just the job for Ireland' !!! Have used it several time in last weeks and friends, after initial reaction of 'Why do you need a fire pit-its Ireland? ' have opened the wine and sat around the fire, outside, talking into the early hours.The cover is a great idea when it rains, it covers the whole pit completely. The pit its self is the ideal size and gives out all round heat, so before long folks are moving back slightly.....Oh ye of little faith..... All in all an delighted with the pit. Its strong, sturdy and well designed and constructed. and as I will put it under shelter in the winter, we will have many long summer evenings in the future with friends and wine and good crake, as they say here.Would recommend to anyone - deliver was fast and reasonable. one of the best and perfect for garden use.

This Fire Pit is wonderful. It is sturdy and looks fantastic in our garden. Easy to assemble and the waterproof cover is an added bonus. We haven't used it yet...we need a nice warm evening. This fire pit is identical to one I saw in a garden centre only it was £35 cheaper here. It was delivered well before the due date and was well packaged. Would recommend the product and company to anyone.

Purchased due to a friend already having one. Am not disappointed, worth the cost and this product will last a long time. Very well made and the open sides gives off great warmth looks great too!

Fab product for 3 years with minimal use. Maybe 15 times. Stored under the cover and shed in the winter months but doesn't last. It corroded terribly and the whole bottom burnt out. After service said out of warranty and so it must be expected. Not sure if there is stillAnything better on the market though. Disappointed it only lasted 3 years though.

ich habe diesen Feuerkorb ausprobiert. Nach dem 1. Feuer platzte schon an einigen Stellen die Farbe ab. Mal sehen, wie lange es mit Schutzhülle dauert, bis dieser Korb Rost ansetzt. Sonst ist der Feuerkorb ganz okay. Leider muss man auch ständig Sand parat haben. Laut Beschreibung der Firma Landmann muss man etwa 3 cm Sand auffüllen vor dem 1. Feuer. Nach dem Entfernen der Asche muss man etwas Sand nachfüllen. das macht den Feuerkorb auch nicht zu meinen Lieblingsstück.
