Definitely NOT worth the money.
I have very complicated skin. I have eczema prone patches in addition to very large pores in my T-zone. I used this product several times before I reviewed it. It gave a tingle and a good clean, but certainly did NOT help with my blackheads enough to be worth £50. When I spend the money on a luxury face product, I'm doing it to receive the above and beyond treatment that the higher price tags SHOULD bring. But in my opinion, this did little more than the many many MANY drugstore products I tried before being forced to look at the higher price brackets to help my blackhead/clogged pore problem. The product did have an effect on my pores, and it is clearly developed to help with them. However, after using it for two weeks, I saw little difference in the overall appearance of my pores. Pore strips are still the only thing that give clear help to my problem. I will say to anyone using this who also suffers from eczema, this product didn't cause it to flair up which is one of the reasons it got two stars. I placed it ONLY on my problematic pore areas and one of those includes an eczema prone area as well. Anyone with eczema will tell you that alone is worth a star. But still, not enough to be worth £50.

Strange branding, but the idea behind the product works.
My first comment on this product is, they need to work on the branding. The bottles have an almost medical look about them - yet when you open the box you're greeted with a message from the product's creator urging you to "Be someone amazing". Weird. So what is it? Is it a medical or glamour product?Moving past that. On opening the package (and after reading the message) you find two items referred to (again, slightly weirdly) as Step 1 and Step 2. Step 1 comes in a little tub and is applied to the face and left for around 10 minutes. Step 2 (which one assumes is a toner) is applied afterwards to help close pores.Cleans and tone is a tried and tested combo and I look forward to seeing the results. My skin isn't too bad, but I do have a few blackhead prone areas, so I'll come back and let you know how I've got on in a few weeks. Results: To use, this stuff is quite nice. Step one smells lovely and is a really nice consistency. It goes on really easily and a little goes a long way. Admirably, the micro beads have been kept to a minimum which is good because micro beads are now a major pollutant due to 1000,000,000s of them being washed down our drains and into our oceans and river on a daily basis.Step two was also easy to apply and seems like a little will go a long way. This is definitely a product which will last a long while. But does it work? I think yes. I felt like I saw an immediate improvement so if you have problem blackheads, give it a shot.

First Aid for poorly pores
The Murad Blackhead & Pore Clearing Duo is an innovative product developed to tackle blackhead and pores using a two stage 'pore reform process'. You get two products in one package, the first to 'clear' pores and the second to 'seal' them after stage one has been undertaken. Stage one of the process is a small tub of white exfoliant type product which you generously apply to the affected areas (think face mask consistency) and leave on for 10 mins. The product doesn't dry like a face mask would and didn't feel at all uncomfortable, I even managed to get dressed with it on my face without getting the product over my clothes - result! After 10 mins you activate the exfoliant by adding warm water and exfoliate the skin, at this point I used the exfoliant over the entire face for added value. After washing off with warm water the face is then patted dry, leaving a lovely squeaky clean fresh faced feeling with no irritation. You then move onto step two by applying a thin layer of the 'sealing' product, a light easily absorbable white lotion delivered through a pump dispenser, which should then be followed by your own moisturiser (well it recommends using a Murad one obviously...but I'm sure your own would do!). It is then followed up 12 hours later with another layer of the sealing treatment, which I did after cleansing at night. So does it work? Well my pores do definitely feel and look smaller and my face nice and clean. I'll need to use the product for a longer period to see if it delivers on a long term basis, over and above similar and cheaper products. As with other Murad products it is well made and non-allergenic and as I have sensitive skin this is important. So good product and might be worth a try to see if it works for you.

Deep Cleanse
I am a big fan of Murad products - they are pricey but very effective and I do get them when I am feeling flush.I tried this product around the nose area where I do have some blocked pores. It is a two step process - first a mask and then the sealer, the idea being that the mask clears out the pores and the sealer stops any new dirt getting in. My skin certainly felt and looked cleaner and fresher and I'll report back when I've had a chance to use it over time. I'm also going to let the family teenager use it as she has a larger area to address. It certainly hasn't left me with that oil stripped feeling you can get when using some harsh products.13/9/15 The report back form the family teenage is that she's delighted with this product the results: her forehead has cleared up considerably since switching to using this regime with blackheads disappearing and pores smaller. The only downside is that step one should be left on for up to ten minutes so it's not a face wash that she can use in the shower, say.
