Legendary!
I love this mascara, I've used nothing else but Kanebo 38 degree since it first came onto the market.This has all the legendary staying power, but gives lashes a bit more umph and length.Put it on in the morning, go swimming, work outdoors, get rained on, and by late evening it still looks immaculate. Then it washes off with soap and warm water.In my opinion Kanebo surpasses a number of other competitor's mascaras that make similar claims.

A good mascara
This is a lightweight mascara which doesn't smudge, clog or flake. It leaves lashes quite soft so for straight lashes like mine it doesn't make the best of them. I had read in a newspaper article that Kanebo was a Japanese company and Japanese mascara always curls lashes.This information, through no fault of Kanebo, was incorrect. Having said that, because of its staying power and ease of removal, l would buy it again.

Separating and Lengthening Mascara
This is just mascara, nothing special, in spite of a rave review in a recent newspaper. Rather clumpy too and didn't noticeably lengthen or separate my eyelashes. Certainly no more than other types I have tried. Not a successful purchase.

Empty!!!!
Use kanebo all the time.... But this separating one I didn't like.... Probably because there was next to nothing in the case!!! Very disappointing and very expensive!!!
