Very good
Very good for now, at least.Does the job well, heats up my entire kitchen with no probs, even when it's off, still keeps all dates and programs saved, no need to reprogram, just power it on, and it's all back to normal.Looks not bad at all too. So, yes I can say it's worth it and would recommend. If it lasts long then, ... fantastic, exactly what I was looking for, no need to look for anything else. Will give u a tip; place fire alarm right next to it and set amazon echo to react on beep sound. She will switch it off immediately should anything accuse. But for that to work, plug the item to alexa compatible smart plug. She will react to beep sound and switch the plug off. And u all safe and sound.

Heater is efficient
The heater is efficient and not too noisy but the remote control is not straightforward and has a default heat setting of 21C, which means if you want the heat setting to be lower you have to keep resetting it every time.

Excellent Heater - very effective
Bought this to replace a plinth heater that was meant to run using hot water from the central heating system. For two years we had intermittent problems with it not working because the hot water was not getting to it along the narrow pipes. Rather than mess about replacing the piping I purchased this item. I shut off and capped the pipes to the old heater then removed it. I made a simple plinth cutout using some plywood and fitted and installed this heater - a couple of hours' job. It works really well and heats up the kitchen very effectively only taking about 30 minutes. The remote control is useful; we just put its holder in a suitable position and grab it when needed. Seeing as how the previous plinth heater cost over £200 and never really worked reliably I am really pleased with this one. My only regret is wasting so much money on the 2 plinth heaters I bought originally and waiting so long to replace one. Another bonus is my wife is happy now - she was always complaining about how ineffective the previous one was!

Great - but not IF the thermostat doesn't work
So far I am slightly concernedI installed the heater 3 days ago and in nearly every respect it performs perfectly well. Simple and neat, easily installed and a very good price. But my concern is over the thermostat.Put simply, it works normally when used manually but doesn't seem to work automatically. After several hours of use at setting '1', and with the kitchen feeling very warm, the heater still continues to run and so far hasn't ever switched off automatically so far as we are aware. We will watch it very carefully for a couple of days but if it won't switch off even at its lowest heat setting, something is clearly not right.

Easy to fit.
The unit was easily fitted under the counter and worked well in our cold kitchen. Unfortunately our house was flooded and the heater was destroyed.

Not fit for purpose
So much for a brand name that I trusted on the basis of buying excellent electric radiators heaters from Dimplex - this is a different kettle of fish! Thermostat is just inaccurate by miles and cuts in/ out at will far too often and from what I've read this is imply bad design and not a fault! Blows cold air at the end of the cycle/ thermostat setting or just as you switch it off, rendering the use ineffective and defeating the whole purpose of using it. The remote needs redesigning, it's slow and simply hard to make the settings work as they should - I am very tech savvy but this is useless. I returned it for refund thankfully and bought a SIA which is another brand I've bought before (but for a chest freezer which is excellent) which works just fine although no remote which is unfortunate.

Good value
Installed this in a cold kitchen where there was no wall space for a radiator or convector heater. Easy to install in the plinth under the cupboard and sufficient cable to connect to the mains supply. The instructions are comprehensive but not the easiest to understand. The heater has a frost setting which we had it set on a first but then it was coming on all through the night when it was not required so now we just turn it in when required. Worth the money as it quickly heats the kitchen up.

East to fit / unnecessarily complex instructions
This is a great little heater. I fitted it the other day without hassle, and it can kick out a fair amount of heat fairly instantly. It is by no means the quietest of heaters, and so if you are looking for something you can have on in the background gently humming away, then look elsewhere - this thing is loud and proud! It is more suited to short blasts to get the kitchen warm. One gripe I have is that the controls are not intuitive. The remote works via bluetooth and the connection is quick, but the steps needed to switch on and off are unnecessarily complex - think simpler next time guys, you'd be doing yourself a favour!
