This was super cute and comfy for my 5 month old to wear. He wasn't bothered by the hat part AT ALL. The body is easy to attach to the carrier. Great durable quality, cozy. Would recommend. My son was 5 months and 16lbs when used. The hat was not loose or big. Fit was Pretty perfect.
