I bought this case for my daughter's HP Spectre x360 (12.79 x 8.6 x 0.63in). The Spectre fits in this case. The Sony Vaio 13" dimensions according to Cnet are (13 x 8.8 inches.) I would say that the Sony would fit in this case. BTW: This is a great case for protecting your laptop.

It will fit the case, there is plenty of loose pad that can be used to manage the empty space. It okey but no super hit. If the thickness is right it will fit really good.
