Yes you could but it's very dark, virtually black with a red tint.

This colour isn't a true black. It's more a very dark brown that has a really rich red sheen to it. I think it would work perfectly well on dyed black hair

Well, I've left it on for about an hour but I'm not recommending you do the same. I've just looked at the product again. What I was talking about was the Live colour. I haven't used 87 for a long time. I wouldn't leave this on for an hour.

Can you wash your hair straight away if your hair was on the greasy side before dying it, then condition as normal

I get the best result from washing hair 12-24 hours before dyeing, then try not to wash it afterwards for at least 3 days
