DO THIS! YOU'LL NEVER REGRET IT!!!!
I bought this kit knowing how all the reviews said it blew the competitors out of the water. If I could give it 6 Stars I would. It was easy. EVERYTHING to do the job correctly was provided. I'd go so far as to say it was fun! The colors are true and the results are professional ... even if I wasn't. I've got 2 neighbors drooling over the final counter and ready to purchase to redo their kitchens and baths. I'll be getting a new color for a different kitchen now.

I had high hopes and was disappointed
I am a DIY'er so not new to this sort of project. I had high hopes! Thought I had this. The instructions should have said thick coat of step two to cover primer coat once you started sanding. Imagine the speckles are raised a bit and difficult to sand to speckle pattern you like without sanding down to primer and even your original counter color if you leave some random open smoother sections. UNFORTUNATELY both my original laminate and prime coat are light and new finish is darker. I did tests before all steps, so did not go into this without thinking about it. I am artistic and resourceful and did sponge painting touch up and looks pretty good.My suggestion it the manufacture is to add tint to primer to match finish coat. I think this might have helped a great deal.Maybe the next person can do that for themselves to get a better finished sanded consistent color.

Great for the first year or so
We used to resurface our kitchen counter top. It was very easy to apply, straight forward if you follow instructions. The finish looked decent, not quite the stone look I thought we were going to get, but close. We were very careful, making sure we don't put anything hot without a pad and I would say it was great for the first year. This is our second year and the color started changing. It is not consistent and we need to redo it. I understand that I am not a professional and I might not have done it right, but I was oping for a little longer.
