75mm Antique Style Door Bolt - Black Cast Iron Sliding Lock/Latch

This is a well made and nice looking latch. As others have noted, it's small and infact at least 5mm too short for the job I had intended it for. But I'll keep it and I'm sure I'll find a place for it somewhere.

Purchased this for a guest bathroom and had to remove it as it was so stiff. I was afraid a child or an elderly person would get locked in. There is a sort of rivet on the underside or we could maybe have loosened it a bit. Otherwise it looked nice and was quite sturdy, just not really fit for purpose which was disappointing.

Nice design and well made. Too small for what I wanted (my fault) both parts have to be right up to each other for bolt to work. Didn’t fit my gate. Shame as it looks good.

We got this bolt because it fits with the look of the other bolts and latches on doors in our hallway. We needed it to secure a door under the stairs where there are tools and chemicals. It is a tiny bit stiff but we like this because it makes it even safer.We are really pleased with it and I'm to buy a second one to use on a different door.
