Is this a genuine APC replacement?

Yes it is. The battery works fine and my UPS is fully operational again..

A word of warning though. There were instructions packed with the battery on how to return the replacement battery for recycling free of charge. Unfortunately the web site link just took me to a generic APC page with a helpline phone number and so I had to telephone them to make the arrangements. This appeared to work (after several exchanges of emails) but the driver tasked to collect the failed battery phoned me from 150 miles away asking for directions.

It was eventually collected but I was getting pretty fed up! The collection took about three weeks. The process was not really set up for a single home user. One of the questions I had to fill out on the form was how many pallet were there!

Can i use it with be550g, as the dimensions are the same ?

As long as it is the same voltage (12V), Capacity (7Ah), dimensions, and the +/- terminals are the same way round and the same size (¼") then it will be fine. Usually all 12V 7Ah batteries are compatible.

Is this compatible with bx1400ui (apc ups 1400va)?

The best place to get your answer is on the APC web site. APC lists the replacement batteries for each of their UPS units.

Is it sufficient for battery replacement for my model, apc ups es 700?

Dear APC Valued Customer,

It would be best to contact APC by Schneider Electric support and provide the exact UPS mode to confirm its battery. As APC UPS ES 700 is just a generic description of it.

Try and locate a white barcode sticker on the unit as it will contain the model and serial number.
