These are just what I needed to set my candied fruits on to cool! They come individually wrapped, so I've only used 2! Still have a couple for later hehe! They are easy to wash and work with!

I love this idea. Now I can save on all that parchment paper. And the cookies will be great again.

Works wonderfully and saves me cleaning time

At the time I am writing this review, the dimensions in the product description are 16.5"L ×11.61". However, this is not accurate. The mats are really 15.75" × 11.75". I used a ruler.The title of the product suggests they are sized for "Half-sheet bakeware". I bought half-sheet baking pans on Amazon a few years ago that came with one silicone mat. The product description for those pans says they are 16" × 12" so you'd think these mats would fit based on the actualdimensions, but apparently with the slight slope of the sides, they do not. The 16 ×12 dimensions are the top dimensions. It is still a better fit than my Amazon basic brand silicone sheets, but still not as perfect as the single sheet my pans came with. Perhaps I just need to trim to fit.I love silicone mats! I used to line my pans with aluminum foil coated with non-stick spray. Silicone mats are better and dishwasher safe. Only knocking one star for the inaccurate dimensions. They do work. They are non-stick.

I’ve seen these silicone baking mats a lot on TV cooking shows and frankly didn’t even know where you got them. I saw these on Amazon and thought OK I’ll try them and I am not disappointed! When I make cookies half of the bottom of the cookie doesn’t stick to the pan like it usually does when I’m baking, instead they slide right off with the spatula. I’m going to try them on chicken wings next.

These baking mats are fantastic! I love being able to use them in a variety of situations. Let's talk about the first couple of things I did with them.I made no-bake cookies (haystacks) because I was craving something sweet and didn't want to heat up the kitchen by making cookies. Instead of searching for wax paper or parchment paper, I grabbed two of these to put the mix on to harden. It worked perfectly, but really, for that, all I needed was a clean surface.I was making candies one day, and ended up using one of these mats to put the chocolate into the fridge on. That worked great as well, and even when chilled, the mat was flexible and easy to work with.It finally got cool enough to make cookies. Oh, goodness. Love these for that. I was only finding one cookie sheet that first day, and the mat fit great on it. I put cookies on it to bake, and while that was in the oven, I put cookies onto another mat. So when the first pan was done, I could put that mat straight onto a cooling rack, and put the new mat onto the cookie sheet and pop it into the oven.When it was all done, I gave the cookie sheet a quick rinse, and washed off the mats with soapy water. Very, very easy.I do still think there is a time and a place for parchment paper, like lining a cake pan. But these mats are already my go to every time I make anything on a cookie sheet. Cleaning up messier foods like baked fish or chicken is so much easier with these mats!!

Silicone baking mats are used as non-stick surfaces in place of greasing the pan or using parchment paper. They also make certain jobs easier due to their relative weight and their characteristic of adhering to the baking sheet when lateral pressure is applied. Specifically, any job that requires you to manipulate the product on the sheet - such as making tuiles, or spreading chocolate with an offset spatula - is easier with one of these mats.I've used silicone mats for years and these are as good as the others I have had - and they are nicely priced. I was a little concerned by the labeling on the box that told me to grease the sheets before using, and to wash by hand - as this defeats the whole purpose of their ease of use. However, the product page clearly states that they are nonstick and dishwasher safe.These sheets are the perfect size for the typical half-sheet baking tray. The only real issues for successful use is to clean them well when done, and do not use them in an oven hotter than what is recommended. Otherwise, you should be happy with them.
