Brabantia Rectangular Touch Bin, 10 L - Brilliant Steel

I've always bought Brabantia you cant go wrong quality is exceptional never had any problems ,we have 4 in house now, expensive but I guess you get what you pay for

Absolutely perfect just like all the other items i own from Brabantia. A lovely feeling that most products from Brabantia are covered for 10 years, if registered.

As already mentioned in other reviews, the closing mechanism of this bin is very flimsy. It stopped working after just a few weeks. We have had a larger Brabantia bin for years, and that works very well. They must have gotten this model wrong somehow.

I really love this bin; it fits perfectly into my small kitchen and it is very elegant. My only worry is that the catch is very delicate and got stuck at one point-it could easily break.

Same as other reviews. Beautiful bin but just a month in and latch gets stuck and doesn't open or close.

It was the ideal shape and size for the space we had in our bathroom, to put a bin in. We know that Brabantia products are an excellent buy

Bought this for the kitchen. Looked good, worked perfectly.... for 2 or 3 days. Then the catch mechanism started to fail intermittently, requiring manipulation with fingers to make it function properly. Sent it back for replacement which, so far, has worked well. However, the catch design seems a little flimsy and doesn't engender confidence. Good guarantee by Brabantia, though, so they must have faith in their product.

The product was delivered collapsed. Although it was protected by two cardboards inside each other, I cannot be sure when such damage occurred. I doubt it happened during delivery. I think the product was packaged in this damaged state. If a force is applied from the inside to the outside, it may be fixed, but there will still be a mark. I have not yet made a definite decision about replacement or return. But it is definitely VERY ANNOYING for a product that you paid so much money for compared to its equivalents to be delivered damaged in this way!...

Ich habe diesen Abfalleimer für unser neues Bad beschafft. Obwohl er ruhig ein paar Prozent günstiger sein könnte, bin ich begeistert. Er ist sauber verarbeitet, lässt sich leicht zusammenbauen, nichts wackelt, alles wirkt wertig. Insbesondere die Vorrichtrung zum Aufhängen ist stabil und dennoch nicht größer als erforderlich. Saubere Verarbeitung. Besonders toll fand ich, dass sich außen angebrachte Aufkleber kinderleicht entfernen lassen. Das Schnappschloss befand sich lose im Karton und soll nach Anleitung in einer bestimmten Richtung eingesetzt werden. Ich habe es wohl verkehrt herum eingesetzt. Funktioniert dennoch einwandfrei. Warum das Schnappschloss nur in einer bestimmten Richtung eingesetzt werden soll wird allerdings nicht klar. Das Schnappschloss soll mittels Schraubendreher wohl auch entfernbar sein, z.B. um Teile in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen, da das Schnappschloss selbst nicht mit in die Spülmaschine darf. Da ich dies jedoch nicht vorhabe und auch so die einwandfreie Funktion gegeben ist, habe ich dies nicht probiert. Da der Abfalleimer wohl hauptsächlich in Bädern zum Einsatz kommt wäre es besser die mitgelieferten Schrauben für die Befestigung an der Wand in rostfreier Ausführung mitzuliefern (oder gar keine). Ich werde diese jedenfalls entsprechend ersetzen. Zu erwähnen wäre noch, dass durch die Konstruktion mit Inneneimer und umschließenden Deckel gewährleistet ist, dass kein Teil des Müllbeutels übersteht, bzw. im geschlossenen Zustand zu sehen ist. Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt.
