Walk! Around the Malverns

This book needs updating as it was published in 2011 and some waymarks aren’t there anymore! Lovely book otherwise with good clear instructions. I did walk 22 which was great but there were multiple references such as ‘there are three paths, take the one with the sign of...’ when none had signs, and ‘continue until the post’ when the posts are long gone. We managed about half the walk as planned because of this. It will be a great book again once updated.

Really great collection of walks (Malverns, Worcester and surrounding area) - not all circular but those that aren't contain info on using public transport (buses & trains) to get back.

This book is well presented with some excellent photographs. The walks are well described and the author makes the routes easy to follow. I recommend this book if you want to see the best of the Malvern Hills and the surrounding area.

What a great book! The author obviously knows his area like the back of his hand and he writes in an engaging informal way yet gets all the technical essentials in - compass directions, GPS data not forgetting how to find the start of routes and the best pubs. Good OS mapping overlaid with clear routes and waypoints. He's a pretty good photographer too.Highly recommended for anyone living around the Malverns or visiting.
