a certain magical index / a certain scientific railgun
when you look at a anime-series as a fan its very important to have the continuation of the story, it's a real shame that distribution of anime in English (not that i mind Japanese with English subtitles, actually prefer those) in Western Europe is so slow.A certain magical index // A certain railgun are intertwining anime, the story is very good, it does contain some graphic violence. I think most anime fans will enjoy it and people that discover anime will be amazed by it.Not going to tell the story, i will leave you to discover this, i will just add that is combines science, religion, the super natural, comedy, drama and a bit of drama, with an amazing protagonist that gets bitten a a lot and refers afterwards to his rotten luck :)the order to see watch these anime's is:1. Index eps 1-6 (Explains how Tomo looses his memories, some people prefer to watch railgun 1-16 firs, feel free follow you own desire)2. Railgun eps 1-163. Index eps 7, 8, & 94. Railgun eps 17-245. Railgun S eps 1-106. Index eps 10-14 & Railgun S eps 11-16 coincide with each other!!7. Index eps 15-248. Railgun S eps 17-249. Index II eps 1-710. Miracle of Endymion movie11. Index II eps 8-24

Flimsy packaging and heavily scratched discs on two copies I have ordered! Be careful collectors!
So 2 years ago Animatsu (or Manga UK if you will) released the Blu-Ray 1st season of Index in a great chipboard box which I very much liked. 2 years on, Index II has just been released in the UK by same organisation, but this time as a Blu Ray/DVD Combi which comes in 2 DVD cases and a very flimsy card slipcase (Licensing must have demanded the Combi). So on the shelf along with the Railgun series, everything looks odd as the 1st seasons of both shows come in shorter Blu-Ray cases with no DVDs! Everything here just feels cheap and inconsistent; especially in comparison to other recent Manga/Animatsu releases of Sentai licenses which come in fanciful chipboard and plastic slipcase offerings. Now onto why I am giving this release a 1-Star rating. This rating isn't reflective of the series itself as it is enjoyable and deserves a place in my vast collection, but is rather reflective of the poor packaging and the condition the discs came in.Upon unsealing this set, I noticed that some discs were loose and that the cases seem to cram everything together. All the discs had a large number of deep scratches and some discs had fingerprint and residue (glue?), but worst of all one of the blu-rays had loads of deep scratches which should only occur by force; after all blu-ray discs are supposed to be scratch-proof right? So I returned this copy and ordered a replacement. The SAME thing again. most discs were scratched!I have bought many of Manga UK's releases over the past 2 decades and have never had problems like this. Yes I have some OCD, but this release has really annoyed me and I expected a whole lot better! These discs shouldn't have scratches and to be truthful, I wish they just released a Blu Ray version with a chipboard box again. Thankfully my Railgun S set is fine.

I used to love Manga Entertainment UK now I cry when they announce ...
Once again Manga Entertainment UK ruins yet another license they have acquired. The Animatsu licensed first series was released with a lovely chipboard art box and staying true to the Manga Entertainment MO, they have release the second series in a Cornflakes quality art box. I used to love Manga Entertainment UK now I cry when they announce acquisitions of Anime titles I'm interested in. They stop releasing titles in bluray mid run and they still haven't release the final parts of Hellsing Ultimate. Luckily, we still have Anime Limited for our quality release fix.The seires is great and I have no problem with the quality of the show, this is purely a rant at the decline of Manga Entertainment UK.

INDEX & RAILGUN STORIES CROSS OVER ON BOTH
I love this anime series my advice is that get A CERTAIN SCIETIFIC RAILGUN, A CERTAIN SCIENTIFIC RAILGUN S, A CERTAIN MAGICAL INDEX, A CERTAIN MAGICAL INDEX 2 And A CERTAIN MAGICAL INDEX THE MOVIE. If you in joy the story as much as i did? The INDEX story and the RAILGUN cross paths as you will need to get all of them to understand the full story. All of the anime are a little bit of drama, action. I think is a very good anime because you can get attached to the characters. because everyone in the anime gets there fair share of hard moments. but still really in joy viewing all of them over and over
