We were introduced to this in the neonatal unit while in hospital with our newborn for nappy changes, he had nappy rash which was really sore and cotton wool and water just wasn’t cutting the mustard. Such an excellent product, cleans well, moisturising, smells great and in a convenient hygienic spray bottle. Now we’re home we’ve continued to use cotton wool and water in a bowl in the house and keep a bottle of Pro Shield in his changing bag to spray on cotton wool. Means we can change him anywhere without needing running water or a bowl. I think we’ll continue using this until he’s out of nappies despite the cost, it’s so good for his skin.

Work really well

Very effective at lifting faeces And anything else from skin even when dried on. Also lifts it from cloth if used! Gentle on the skin too and no adverse reaction at all. Only issue to get round is not operating right to the bottom of the container. I go on to a new one and then add the bottom of that to the first to get the most out of it as it is expensive.

I was given some of this in hospital, where I was given other cleansers as well. I have a very troublesome stoma with a bag which needs to be changed often several times a day, putting great stress on my skin. This is the only cleanser I've found which cleans brilliantly, doesn't sting, and keeps my skin in really good condition. I use it by spraying it onto some sort of dry wipe (a really good thick triple-ply kitchen roll works very well for me) and using that as a wet wipe. It's better than any other wet wipe I've tried. For harder to shift soiling I apply it as a foam directly and leave it for a couple of minutes before wiping off. I can't fault it and can't recommend it too highly.
