Hama Folder for Negatives, Filing Archival Sleeves / Album Sheets, 4 D-rings with Slipcase, Filling Height 45 mm, Grey

I bad been looking for one of these for ages and am very excited to be storing my pictures now.

Great folder with slip case. Good value for the quality.

Worth every penny. Can’t believe I ruminated

I've got quite a few 'A4' Negative files in standard A4 binders which do the job fine. However, I suppose for extra protection from dust these Hama ones with an outer sleeve seem a pretty good idea - although, given that they're made basically made of cardboard, they seem to me to be expensive for what they are.My order was sold, despatched and delivered by Amazon (which is usually quite reassuring to know), however, this item was "parcelled up" in a flimsy Amazon paper bag only, and the product itself was not in any manufacturer's packaging of any sort either - it is not surprising that the product seems to have been damaged slightly in transit and so I might actually decide to return the order. I can buy standard A4 folders to hold my neg. files for just a few quid, so I'd expect this Hama product costing considerably more to be somewhat better. Overall this is quite a good Hama product but it has to be over-priced for what it is - and all the more so, when its lack of outer-packaging and the way it's sent by Amazon probably means you'll receive it damaged in transit anyway.

...the advertised Slipcase isn't inclulded. Which makes this both hilariously overpriced for what you get and misleadingly advertised. Cannot reccomend.

These are excellent ring binders for holding prints and slides as well as negatives (which is actually the one thing I don't use them for). They are certainly not cheap but if you want to hold your prints and slides in a dustproof ring binder you should certainly consider this item. I use it in conjunction with this supplier's slide storage sleeves, which I've also reviewed and noted that the rings of the binder do not always meet perfectly which can leave a sharp edge where the ring clips meet and this can tear the sleeves around the ring punch holes, so you need to be very careful when turning pages of sleeves (especially if you're trying to turn several pages at once). If you're using this ring binder to store mounted 35mm slides I find it will hold around 40 sleeves, each of which can carry 20 slides, so the box will hold approximately 800 slides in total. Notwithstanding my comment about the danger of tearing at the punched holes, I find this a very efficient and elegant way of holding my print and slide collection.

Good quality but expensive

As others have noted, the product was delivered without a slipcase. Returned and refund requested. I shall try elsewhere.

Ist recht robust gebaut. Die Oberfläche ist nicht wahnsinnig schön (Design und Haptik aus dem letzten Jahrhundert ;)Aber die Ordner stehen bei mir eh nicht im Bücherregal.

I have this ordner and i would not go for less. The cover protects the negatives from dust. The folder is sturdy and can hold many sheets with negatives.
