12" Aeroline 120W 12v Electric Radiator Cooling Fan Universal Fitting

Very happy with this fan very good service and a great price.

So the fixings were an issue. First one snapped, another one wouldn't tighten, changed out the clip for a spare, but after just 1hr every clip has worked loose. I retightened them but I have zero faith it will hold. I threw some cable ties to stop fan literally falling out in case they fail and ordered some threaded rods to just do it properly with solid fixings.Adding to this, the little plastic brackets don't stay put, thus the fan settles back onto the radiator. To solve this, I have to glue the brackets. I get that this is a universal set but easily could have moulded a stop for the bracket so it goes in one way and cannot slide back out.The fan itself works great and does the trick, and would have been a 5/5 for that element however the fixings let this slide to a 3 star. Metal fixings or something more secure would have been better, and even more so would be to have spares at least to ensure any easily snapped fixings can be replaced. Alas, no spare ties (only some spare ends).

Fitted it to my 1966 Morgan.Looks good and does the job.However the plastic "String"fittings were too weak.2 of them broke off.Luckily I had some left over from the previous fan!

Works ok but poorly balanced. needed to trim blades to balance it up. Also, bullet connectors not good. I just cut them off and soldered better ones on.

Restricts more airflow than it provides, also poorly balanced. Nissan Micra radiator fans are about the same diameter, are much much better made and can be bought second hand on eBay for about £10
