I bought this after reading other reviews on it as it seemed to be the best in the price range i wanted to pay. Took a while to arrive but was aware of delivery date. Looks good and is not too big as wanted to use it in my bedroom which is the hottest room in my house. Not as quiet as i expected but only as loud as my fans. Water tank is large and slightly heavy when full but is easy to remove. Has an ice cube tray and can be used with ice blocks. Has 3 speed settings a cooling button and vane button so air can be directed where you want it or in a set direction. Easy to use. My bedroom is 15x15 and at its hottest was 32 degrees !...managed to cool it to 26 degrees using ice blocks and ice cubes( using 2 fans only cooled the air to 29 degrees)..felt cooler than 26 when blowing directly on me from about 12ft away..and using it at night i wasn't waking up with a dry throat and blocked up nose like i did when using the fans...overall pleased but would still have liked my bedroom to be cooler when the weather was at its hottest.

We paid £140 for the air cooler and we feel it wasn't worth that kind of money at all, it looks and feels cheap. Basically it's just a fan really and a bit noisy. Ice packs didn't seem to make a difference. We've put the air cooler away in the garage and went back to using our standard fan which does the same job.

the air cooler is great, however the wheels that are on the base for"easy movement" are absolute rubbish, so poorly fixed onto the unit that they snap and then you have to try and prop the unit up somehow and cannot move it anywhere without emptying all the water and carrying it. Needs a metal fixing on the wheels not inferior plastic

Had to put it up high on chest to direct the cool on us in bed, lovely. But was a bit loud.

Ours arrived faulty, the arm that lowers into the water tank to circulate the water wasn’t lowering automatically. Had to tweak it myself with a screwdriver which was quite fiddly and time consuming. Now I’ve adjusted the arm, in terms of cooling I suppose for this price it’s what you expect. I’ll give it a few days and edit my review if I’m more impressed.

To cool down the room, but not cool enough even with ice and cold blocks.

At first I was in too minds if I should get this after reading other reviews. But found this to be excellent when it’s been the warmest of days . It belts out cold air and cools down the room within an hour and goes even colder when you add ice . Also has very low noise level on all speeds .

Needs lots of ice in the tank for this to work and will only cool a small room by 1 or 2 Degrees
