Heater
Its good - easy charging - good shape for pocket - easily lasts for2 hours+ I have never exhausted it - I usually use 4 lights which is hot enough for at least 2 hours - does take a good 2 hours to recharge back to full - only wish it was slim enough to slide in my glove - I have various makes and they all work well but none slim enough for the glove - if you have bigger gloves it would fit.

Golfers Beware
I bought two of these (nb they are not sold as a pair - why?). Hoped they would last up to four hours for a round of golf. Mine don't; neither on the hottest setting or the second hottest. That said, the shape and the heat, while there's sufficient charge, are both good.

Zippo Heatbank/Hand-warmer - Not convinced
I like it and I want to like it more. It's very ergonomic in the hand. On that topic it might be a good idea to add some sort of texture to it that would help provide a better grip. I haven't dropped it yet but it's a matter of time. The instructions state you shouldn't use it after a spill so I've been extra careful.I think I'll stick to the petrol version for hand-warming purposes. This gadget seems to work fine. The only problem I have found is sitting playing guitar in a cold room with this in my pocket. This resulted in feedback coming out the amplifier. Switch the device off and the feedback disappears. I wasn't sure at first because I was using a new guitar but further testing reveals this gadget does not get along with my amplifier. So it's hard to trust around other electronics. As I'm a big wind-bag I worry about the safety of using this device. With all the radio waves flying around today in our technological world I suppose I'd be dead now if there was anything to worry about. But I do worry about what non life threatening effects this may be having long-term...on all of us. I imagine holding this device in your hand when hot is like holding a mobile phone in your hand that's about to burst into flames and explode. But I'm not technically minded on how this gadget was put together. It's just the impression I get. It honestly kind of scares me.The 6 is supposed to represent 6 hours of heat you get, I haven't tested this but it seems fairly accurate. The downside is it seems to take 6 hours to charge it too. I've been using a lap-top to charge it, perhaps it would be quicker if using the mains. In the right conditions my Zippo petrol hand-warmer is supposed to give 12 hours of heat but I've seen it give out 22 hours so this device provides no competition. I need more than 6 hours if working in the winter months. The hand-warmer is only half the product though. As a power pack I'm sure it will be more than useful. Although the instructions say you should only use the cable that comes with the device. As such my mobile phone cannot be charged as the fitting is different. I have no idea why I can't use my own charging cable.

Disappointed
I had big hopes for this product. I did some research as there are hundreds of devices out there and I went for a recognised brand. Yes it works, yes the heat output is decent but no, it only lasts 2 hours on high heat. If I'd not used it twice to trial it and thrown out the packaging I would send it back. ;-(

Mixed feelings
I opted for this over the traditional 'lighter fluid' model because I wanted to use it indoors - plus my electricity supply, unlike my lighter fluid supply, is unlimited. It does work - but the top heat is less warm than I expected. Used outdoors in the snow it provides a nice bit of heat to let you stay out longer. I do astrophotography (star photos) so gaining an extra 30 minutes outside is great. However, I also wanted to use this around the house when I got cold hands. In this respect, in surroundings that are already quite warm, it doesn't really work well, as the top heat is not that hot. Finally, the device emits a weird plastic smell. I thought this would go away, but after two weeks it's still as strong as day one. I am now considering going old school with the classic Zippo hand warmer instead and ditching this oddity.

Would buy again
10/10 would buy anotherIt does what it says. Turn it on. Slap it in your pocket and halfway down the road your pockets hot and your hands will be too once they connect. Only thing I’d say is the battery life feels short.. could be Becasue I use it for the multi purposes being charging and heating up my hands.
