My niece has an older house with a step down from the original living room to a newer built section of the house. There is wood floors on the upper floor, stick down tile on the step. This trim was perfect for the edges of the wood floor and the step to give it a finished look without adding some sort of raised trim. It was easy to install. Just take your time and make sure it's straight before pressing it down, the glue strips really hold!

We have a 12 passenger van. With the constant usage, the step up into the van for the back seat passengers developed a crack, that grew and grew to maybe a 18-24 inches long along the top edge of the step. I had been looking online at auto past stores to replace that whole plastic insert, but it was over a $100 + shipping. Plus, I may not have understood things and gotten the wrong kind and would have to pay to ship the big awkward thing back. But I found this step corner cover and it has been great! I used command strips inside the crack to kind of keep the bulging plastic in, then used the adhesive strips included with the stair nose edging. It is easy to cut to length using normal scissors and has help up to several months of children and friends getting in and out over and on that step and it still looking good and holding up without problem!

Flimsy and cheap.

As written by others: They come wrapped tightly and this causes wrinkles. Also, they did not come self adhesive, they set double sided sticky tape with them (not ideal nor is that self-adhesive).After all said and done. Laying these out for a while to regain shape then applying the Tape was fairly easy. It sticks like mad and works well once in. I rated a 2 but now will rate a 4.

I looked every where for this and thought about Amazon perfect for marble tiles on the steps

Worked but a little flimsy

We put it on our step going on to our deck. It was easy to install, and it is still sticking. It looks really nice.

Our need was for the nosing of the floor at the top of the stairs, and I wanted something not metal to minimize the pain with one stubs a toe. When I got this, it was rolled loosely in a box with the two adheive stips rolled separately . . . I had doubts. To get the rubber edging to relax, I laid it on the edge of our deck railing in the hot sun for a day, which relaxed the rubber quite nicely. Then I trimmed the edging to fit exactly and applied the double adhesive tape. Do note that the way to apply the adhesive in such cases is to only pull off the covering layer a tiny it to get it stuck down to start; then, pull the cover off a little bit at a time, adhering that portion down, and repeat it as one positions it along the length. Turned and is comfortable on bare feet.
