Good basic holder
This holder is pretty robust and is generally a good budget option. It does have a tendency to work loose, needing a little corrective push back on every so often.Once in, however, the phone is held securely and can be rotated through all angles easily.

Recommended for bigger phones
I have a Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 and it has been so hard to find a car phone holder to fit this phone. Despite my phone slipping out a few times (it was my massive case that caused this) I would DEFINITELY recommend it. Delivery was great. Although you need some finger muscle to fix it in place, I'm glad of that or the whole thing would be falling off the vent the whole time. Good product and I would recommend it for the bigger phones.

For stationary vents only
Think these are for vents that dont move. Mine move and when i put my phone on my vent moves and faces downwards. My phone isnt that heavy. Samsung S7 curve. Thus no longer use mine.

Works well if used properly!
Worked really well once if figured out how to use it properly!! Don’t put it in the moving air vents as it just falls down and so will your phone! Had to keep pulling over to pick it up! Then a friend discovered something. Put it in the static ones on the dash and it works a treat!

It is great to discontinue this product and previous Olixar air vent mount.
From my experience, Olixar generally designs products in workable (not so functional!) way. HOWEVER, manufactures products in extremely flimsy manner.Normally, I do not write product reviews however, I cannot stand this company for making ever so unreliable products.For this case, the rubber feet which grab air vent, popped out and makes whole thing drops Everytime! to the floor while driving.I have used it in many vehicles Audi A6s, BMW 3, 4, 5 series and so on.I have made at least 4 returns because of the items were broke, or pieces fall apart (All of them were from Olixar and now discontinued).
