Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah / Godzilla Vs Mothra [Blu-ray] [US Import]

As those Godzilla fans in the UK will know, finding Godzilla DVD and Blu-rays that are region 2 compatible is a bit of a nightmare. I purchased this Blu-ray on the basis that a friend advised me that my PS3 would play any region encoded blu-ray, unfortunately my friend was completely wrong about that. The silver lining to this situation was that the bluray included an Ultraviolet code for both movies. Although these two films do not show up on any UK ultraviolet libraries for purchase if you register for an account at sonypicturesstore.com and link this to your Ultraviolet account these two titles will be added to your library regardless.On top of this, the blu-ray also includes the original Japanese dialogue with pretty good subs. This is far superiour to the American dub which is the only version I had ever seen previously and clears up a number of plot inconsistencies created by the dub (although not all of them, as the screen writers understanding of time travel dynamics leaves a lot to be desired).

Product exactly as described. Quick delivery in safe packaging. Not even the Italian mail could stop which is about as much a compliment as any possible... A+

Two excellent godzilla films with superb HD prints. Includes various trailers for the film's but would have been nice to have a bit more in the way of extras.Each film comes on its own disc but you will need an all region blu-ray players as these discs are region A locked.

The only problem I have with this DVD bundle is Godzilla vs King Ghidorah doesn’t work on any of my devices. Even though is the only movie I bought this for

This DVD collection is not in region 2 format and will not play on a regular DVD player as I found out last night :(

These movies are strictly Region 1.Unlike the earlier reviewer I couldn't make the Ultrviolet code work, and it was also impossible to get into Sonypictures help function (you had to fill out a form, that also didn't work)So I can watch my covers for these and 2 other Godzilla movies

ここでは「ゴジラＶＳモスラ」の仕様についてだけ書きます。映画の内容は、他の方のレビューを参考にして下さい。この映画の国内版ソフトは、画面のコントラストが低すぎ、会話と効果音の音量差がありすぎで、家庭用テレビでの視聴を全く考えていないような出来だったので、あまり見ることはありませんでした。いちいち画面を調整したり、ボリュームを上げ下げするのが面倒なのです。が、米国版のこれはお茶の間での視聴に最適化されています。非常に気持ちよく見ることができました。まるで別の映画のような気分です。

Again, excellent picture quality and sound. Being able to watch these in the original Japanese is awesome.As for the movies....4 stars for G vs KGGodzilla's look was awesome! King Ghidorah looked awesome!Beam fights, and KG's transformation to Mecha King Ghidorah was excellent.I liked the origin for Godzilla from Godzillasaurus to Godzilla.However this movie was loaded with plot holes. The whole time travel thing got out of hand.The score was very impressive, with the flaw of plot holes, this movie still an excellent entry into the series.3 stars for Godzilla vs Mothra. I felt this was the weakest of the series.The movie got a little preachy at times. The special effects felt dated and rushed.Battora looked great and was animated well. Mothra looked too much like a puppet. I thought it looked more bug like in the 1964 Godzilla vs Mothra.The weak effects and story are compensated by steady action and great monster fights. The glory of beam fights is continued in this film.

De plus, sur l'île gardée par Ebirah, Godzilla se trouve en sommeil dans une grotte, de belles bagarres en perspective...

Dommage qu'ils on pas fait la vf je l avais en vhs il était en vfSais vraiment nul de pas répondre la vf sur des vieux film comme saJe mai 3 étoiles pasque sais pas en vf sinon j'aurais mis les 5
