I bought this for shovelling ashes out of our chimenea - I needed a shovel which wasn't too wide and this is perfect. I received two shovels but was only expecting one! - the description doesn't make it clear whether you get one or two although the photo suggests two. I like the fact that the handle is integral so won't break off, which is an issue I've experienced in the past with this sort of ash shovel.

Suits what I need

These shovels are not the same as in picture. They are made from very thin metal, very flimsy. To say they are cheap and cheerful underestimates the poor quality. Save yourself the trouble of sending them back and buy from another seller. The makeshift packaging them came in was good, probably because without it the flimsy metal have been squashed in the post!

Pore quality coal shovel they bent first time I used them. Will not recommend you buy. Their rubbish

It’s nice and strong, but not too heavy. Just the right size to get into my barbecue to get the ashes out.
