Park Tool SW-7.2 Triple Spoke Wrench Tool ,Blue

Park Tools are high quality tools and this spoke spanner continues the theme. It was purchased as insurance for a long bike ride where our party will be away from support. I am hoping that we will not have to use it but should one of the party break a spoke or two, we have the right tool for the job. The spanner is well made with no sharp corners to cut you or damage the bag you put it in. Check that this tool will fit the spoke nipples on your bike - this tool covers sizes 0 to 2 inclusive. There is no hole for a safety cord but space to drill one if you think you might loose it or you want to trim off some of the 62g this tool weighs. I used the 18mm flat area as a suitable place to engrave some identification since this tool is more likely to be “borrowed” because of its looks and simple desirability. A beautifully made tool that, for all the right reasons, I am hoping not to use in anger.

Bought this to replace my favourite spoke key which had died. Works well and is sturdy enough to deal with the dreadful (old, knackered and well on the way to being rusted up - oil every nipple) wheels that I am asked to true. It's worth paying the extra money for such a sturdy tool

Took bike back to store after purchase for its 6 week free check up. There was an odd pinging noise coming from front wheel, shop said was due to a steering column spacer being lose. It wasn't. After tapping everything on the bike, we discovered it was lose spokes. In fact some were almost flapping about. Not good for brand new bike after a service. This gadget cured the noise. Liked that is was metal and not plastic.

Doesn't fit the 4mm nuts you find on ebike motor hub wheels. Otherwise a well made tool, just need to add the nut sizes it will fir ie, not 4mm

Reasonably priced, very well cast and weighty in your hand despite its tiny appearance. I was tempted by other tools with slightly bigger rubberized handles but I'm glad I went for this in the end as if just feels right and makes it easy to make the minute adjustments you need to carefully true a wheel. Managed to get it right first time too, nice straight rim.

This is a good design that goes the full length of the Nipple and will not round off even the most corroded spoke but the QC was very poor. Mine arrived with sharp edges all over ( not beveled) and drew blood on its first use. I cannot trust this in a backpack or tool bag without lots of filing down of the sharp stuff - likely going back.

In bit of a spot choosing the right size spoke tensioner UNTIL i saw this Park Tool gadget Not really a gadget its a Park Tool spanner (the top USA cycle tool maker) Ive always rated Park Tools for quality and ease of use. This does the job- end of story

Fits perfectly on the spokes - the real thing - tried one from Canadian tire - absolute garbage - is either too big too small. This one is like a glove on the spoke. Yes it more expensive but is well worth the money.
