OtterBox Resurgence Power/Battery Case for Apple iPhone 5s / 5SE - Retail Packaging - Satin Rose Grey/Blaze Pink

I received my Otterbox battery case a few days ago, and am pleased with it so far! A lot of the reviews mention problems that I wanted to address: first, the buttons don't stick as some reviewers mention. They work as perfectly as with any other case. Second, you can still easily hear people when making phone calls. Third, the case does exactly as advertised and provides you with one full extra charge.Compared to other battery case I would say this is a top pick. Unlike other cases it isn't bulky or heavy! To give a size comparison of width (something I was curious about) it is the same thickness as the Otterbox Defender. It adds a slight bit of length, but you hardly notice that after having the phone in the case for a few days. Also the colors are beautiful! I got the Aqua/white option and am extremely pleased with the look of the case. After trying several top phone case brands for both my iPhone 4 and 5s, I can confidently say that I will only use Otterbox cases from here on out!

There are many problems with this case. First and the biggest problem I had is that it is next to impossible to take off once you put it on. It took me, a friend, and 4 hotel card keys to pry the case open. Second if you drop it three times then say goodbye to the case. While it is supposed to not break, which it doesn't, the charge will stop working almost instantly after dropping it. And third and most importantly, it doesn't charge well. It neither charges well not holds a charge for very long. Overall it's good at the beginning but once you've had it for a while, it's trash.

Purchased this for an iPhone SE (2016), and while it does actually give the phone a considerable increase in power throughout the day, the main problem with it is the plastic design - in particular, the volume buttons. No matter how many times I've resituated the phone in the case, it doesn't seem like the volume buttons move independently. Rather, they're both connected to the same piece of plastic, so if I want to turn my volume up, the down button gets pressed as well. Not only this, but if I push in on the left side of the shell below the volume buttons, it presses in on the buttons causing the volume to change as well. The power bank button has become extremely brittle given the age of the product and fell apart within about 2 weeks of using the case.

Phone battery was dying at around 5 p.m. and didn't replace my internal battery for eighty bucks. I normally use an OtterBox Defender and this was definitely a change up. It's longer than the Defender and very slippery. I dropped my phone 3 times on the carpet luckily trying to hold the phone between my shoulder and ear like any normal person using a telephone. I've gotten used to the little bit of extra grip you need to hold the phone with the case on. Within about four days I got completely used to the size and texture and the functionality outweighs any and all cons.My only question on this is my phone dies at 5, I press the button to charge my phone and after my phone is fully charged there still is about another full charge left. I'm pretty responsible when it comes to letting battery powered devices fully die before charging, but I absolutely have to charge my phone every night and worry that I'm ruining the battery's memory.

The media could not be loaded.  Case is hard to open, doesnt actually charge the phone, and the side volume buttons keep changing my volume settings, so the ringer is always muted. Also return shipping is upwards of $5, so its definitely a waste of money. I rarely have regretful purchases, but this one was crazy disappointing.

Ordered this case for my daughters phone. It came fairly quickly, however upon arrival we plugged it in and it didn’t work! We have another case and followed all instructions provided and still nothing. I have requested from the seller a replacement several days ago and still no response. When I go to the “file a claim” link through amazon it takes me to an unknown page. Wouldn’t even give it one star being as though it doesn’t work!

It did charge the phone but it's VERY thick and it's not always consistent in charging. I'll keep it and use it as needed but I used it for about a month and don't think I want to keep using it as my day-to-day case.As mentioned it is hard to get off, but doable. I'm not sure how protective it is of the phone. It seemed like a hard plastic rather than something protective.

I expected a lot better from the otter box name. This case is constantly falling to pieces when dropped. It charges my phone maybe 50% of the battery -much less than my prior case of another brand. The top button is constantly pressing on my phone so it either takes a photo when home is pressed or tries to turn the phone off. This further drains a battery it barely charges. Overall a big disappointment.

Sirve muy bien, el único defecto es que el botón para subir el volumen aprieta ambos botones y termina bajando el volumen. He tenido que dejar de utilizar esos botones. Fuera de eso funciona muy bien.

Fantastic this has saved me so many times not just from my usual drops and knocks but more importantly it really does charge my phone and let's me continue using it!

Great case with the exception, once it is on, it is hard to remove. But will never pop off. Perfect protection and charges my phone to 100% when needed.
