Electro3 Roland Spd

Unfortunately this looks better than it is, or maybe I've been sent the wrong one! I don't seem to have a 'contact seller' button.The illustration shows the interior carrying a Roland SPD 20, in the main compartment, with the stand fitting nicely in the full length section and room for sticks etc ion the side. Looks great! I have a Roland SPD 20 and a Roland SPD SX. Niether of them fit into the sections, as the seperator (velcro secured), is not configured as the illustration shows. I'm now looking at modifying the velcro fasteners to adjust to my needs. I've started to add some self adhesive velcro, which you may see in my photo. It certainly would have been better if they had included multiple velcro positions.The main structure of the case seems really good, and it does have a really useful large pocket on the front, shame it's not padded, as it fits the spd 20 just fine.

If you need a case for an HPD-15 these days, this is pretty much your only option outside of a custom made case. This case is high quality and well made, as are all the Protection Racket cases I've seen. It has plenty of room, actually too much room, which makes the case itself much larger than it needs to be making it a bit cumbersome . This case depends primarily on elastic straps to hold the gear in place, but these are most certainly going to stretch over time and become less effective. I would have preferred a more concise fit so the equipment doesn't have so much room to float around in the first place. I also have an SPD-20 with the case that Roland makes, and it's a much more precise fit. I've stuffed some additional foam padding in the case to snug it up, but due to the overly large size on top of the very loose fit, I'm still on the lookout for a different permanent solution.
