Parsons Ammonia All Purpose Cleaner 00855 28 Ounce

I was going to use Easy Off to clean my oven, then I saw this hack on cleaning your oven with ammonia. I put a bowl of ammonia on the highest rack in oven, even though it also said don’t leave your racks in oven when doing this??? I left it in overnite and magic. I opened oven door and had to close it right away because the ammonia smell was Overpowering! I opened the door and pulled out the bowl and shut it quickly and after an hour or so, it didn’t smell. But I just wiped with a damp towel and voila - clean. No hard scrubbing. Worked like magic

The strong smell is what I needed

I remember from childhood that my mother used to purchase Parson's ammonia. Whether it was "sudsy" or lemon scent she was always pleased with the excellent, clean results. While the scent is potent, this product does a great job. It is not at all "watered down" as I have found this to be the case with other brands of ammonia.Parson's does an excellent job cleaning and freshening combs and brushes, too, as one of the other Amazon customers noted....will purchase again.
