Weird but comfy fit wear well fitting socks though!
I recently was diagnosed with Plantar fasciitis and having consulted a specialist podiatrist and having my shop bought Pro works insole slightly adapted with wedged adhesive high density foam to stop over pronation. I decide to buy these for my 2x11 hour work shifts. Having worn them around the house to try them out I did initially think that I would be sending them back but once I'd got use to the roomy toe area (which is great) after all who wants bunched up toes squashed into shoes. I realised that although the heel of the shoe was low because the adapted insole lifted my foot quite a lot. I was never at risk of walking out of them because the mouth opening was snug and held them in place and they are easy to put on and take off.(I would not recommend wearing without socks). Also the heel height with the insole combined actually raised my heel up and in so doing reduced my PF pain SIGNIFICANTLY. This pair I purchased in navy blue with the intention that if I found them suitable that I would purchase a second pair in white. Also for use at work. My job requires that I mostly work in a CLEAN ROOM therefore need shoes that can be kept clean and that are kept in that area. So white is essential to be confident that they are clean and fit for purpose within that area. The blue ones will be used when working out with that area. My employee does provide shoes but frankly they're rubbish and have probably contributed to my foot condition anyway. Best to source my own. I'm a 6.5 to 7 shoe and I ordered the 7-8. They may feel weird at 1st but trust me follow my advise here and you'll be glad you bought these. Also recommend the Pro11 Worx series orthotic insoles in size small if you wear the same size as me. They fit well without the need to trim. The retail site that begins with a G and rhymes with coupon has them available to buy as a pair or 2 pairs which I bought on 2 separate occasions. 2 pairs with change left from £10. Get yourself some.

I normally wear a size 7. I purchased size 7-8. It is fit and comfortable. It is a bit pricey but value for money, slip resistance. Recommend.
