Fits well and good sturdy pipe
Why did you choose this product over others?:Perfect for the job. I needed to replace an old and very degraded pipe system, and this flexi pipe made the job much easier for this old lady. No messing around with different bends, fittings and pipes. It arrived timely with all the rubber seals as was needed to fit instantly and did so with no leaks.

More versatile than the standard types of waste trap
Working in a very confined space where it was nigh on impossible to fit the usual compression fit traps. This has worked an absolute treat on two installations I've completed. If it blocks, simply undo the coupling between the sink waste and the flexi tube and tip into a bucket.

Wrong size thread and nut.
Advertised to fit 1 1/2 inch 40mm thread.Is 1 3/4 inch 45 mm. otherwise looks a good product.

Flimsy rubbish
You get what you pay for, trust me, buy the more expensive ones, this is so flimsy its see through and not much stronger than paper - generally these are being fitted in tight spaces, I just lightly rubbed it along a rough surface and its got a small hole in it - utter utter rubbish.

Not a British standard fitting
The end that connects to the sink waste is 1.5" standard, but the other end is not compatible with standard British solvent weld or push-fit pipe sizes. You can get around it by cutting off the 50 mm part and using one of those 'universal' compression connectors to form a seal around the remaining '40 mm' section. Easier just to get a standard component though
