Looks much neater than the usual fixed or gravity grills. Easy to install and fit the cover.

We had a standard flap vent installed which kept flapping open and closed making noises, changed it to a mesh grilled one which again began letting air hit the internal vent which had its own flap which make lots of noise.I tried this and it works really well the design means that the wind that comes along the wall is either deflected away or buffered so that nearly all the flapping is muted. I’d say I still get a flap noise here and there but that’s due to the pressure in the room that pushes the air out the internal flap.This product works really well.

Shine to the finish and quality

This extraction cover looks good and is easy to trim if needed to make the back plate fit snuggly. The problem however is that the actual cover can and will be blown off given any sort of wind.This results in having to locate said cover (usually in the nextdoor neighbours garden) and re-attaching. The shiny piano black sheen will of course be completely scratched by this point but it still looks acceptable from a distance. A few little adjustments and an added cable tie or two and she's secure. On the plus side when it is in position it does reduce the wind noise considerably, not perfect but it will do.
