Arrived on time and came with a nice box that you can use when not using the headphone. When using the head phone in the gym very good sound and still aware of surroundings. I must say the best use for these head phones are when I'm walking the dog along the canal, i am able to enjoy listening to music, whilst been aware of cyclist and other things happening on the canal. Very good sound, fits well and very well built.

I got these for use in half marathons and marathons where you are (apparently) not supposed to wear in-ear type headphones.Having never tried bone conducting headphones before I was a bit concerned about comfort, weight, stability and sound volume. So these are my views having done a half marathon and a 10 mile road run.1. Comfort, they are pretty comfortable and didn't cause me any issues when doing a half marathon. I had sideburns and they stop the headphones from making good contact with the skin so dont buy this type of headphone if you have facial hair.You cannot adjust the size of the strap so they either fit or don't which is an issue. Medium to large size heads only for these.2. Weight. They look and feel pretty bulky with the strap round the back of the neck being quite chunky. I'm not a fan of this arrangement but actually didn't really notice when running.3. Stability. Because you can't adjust the strap it means that you have to have the headphones sit where they fall on your head. It's a pretty annoying flaw since these headphones are slightly too big for me and so the sound panels don't sit in the optimal part in front of my ears.This also means that they can move around a little. However, not as much as I thought they would considering they are not plugged into your ear, which automatically holds the headphones in the right place.5. Sound volume. Because they don't sit in the optimal part of my head they are quieter than they could be.I listen to audio books when running so the noise is quieter than music would be anyway, but I find these headphones too quiet. Even on full volume normal road traffic drowns out the noise of the headphones.Now I know the point of bone conducting headphones is so you can hear what is going on around you, but this means that these headphones are a compromise which doesn't work unless you run off road or along quiet roads. If you are running in any kind of arranged run with supporters you will not be able to hear the music over the noise of the crowds. This is likely a problem with all bone conduction headphones and not specific to these ones.I'm not an audiophile and as mentioned I listen to books when running so can't comment on the quality of the sound.I no longer use these headphones for running as they are too quiet.Hope you found this helpful.

I can compare these to the other bone conduction headphones I've had.Unlike other brands they are flexible, that means they shouldn't suffer the problem of breakage when you take them on and off (something that other designs really suffer from)It doesn't have an additional headband like other types, this is good inasmuch as you don't sweat so much wearing them, unfortunately, they also slip out of place a lot.Audio quality -indoors is actually very crisp and clear. No bass, but that is not any different from other bone conduction headphones, if you need bass don't buy bone conduction.The seriously major flaw with this design is the unbelievably low volume coming out of the headset. It's noticeably quiet indoors, but outdoors it's awful. ANY wind noise drowns out the sound as do cars passing by on the road, as does sitting on the bus and cycling (which is what I mostly use them for) I can barely tell that they are on and playing music.Volume up 100% on phone and 100% on headphones PLUS EQing the hell out of them and still they're too quiet to hear.VERY disappointing, as the sound quality does sound crisp and clear (when you're indoors and can hear it) and the lack of rigidity in the frame suggests they should last longer than other brands and designs.IF you are only going to use these in a quiet location (probably indoors) then they might be fine for you. For anything else, sadly, I couldn't recommend them. For me, they're not suitable for any activity I was hoping to use them for, so, sadly they're being returned.

Not as loud or clear as some in ear headphones, but they are perfect when you need to hear your surroundings and it was great to have both ears being able to hear both book and surroundings simultaneously.Managed to complete the MK 1/2 Marathon and hear my Audible book (along with GPS tracking), which mad me happy with my purchase. Normally use a pair of Bluetooth in ear headphones with only one ear connected so I can hear traffic and surrounding environment, but due to changes in athletic policies, there is a ban on all except bone conducting head phones. Hence why I made the purchase.Can cause issues if you want to wear glasses as some frames are too large and cause some pain behind the ears. I won’t use them every day and still resort to in ear headphones just for a richer and clearer sound.

Update: I returned them after a few weeks since they started badly rattling on louder sounds on one side. It seems the electronics is set up to supply enough power to the sounders to actually damage them. Since it is Bluetooth there's no excuse for that. Maybe if I got another pair and was careful I could make them last but at this price I don't really want to take a chance of this happening on a new model out of warranty.Original review:These might add years on to my life in two different ways. I cycle about 40 minutes a day in traffic and I've long searched for the best trade off between situational awareness and being able to hear what I'm doing. These are a huge improvement over all other sports headphones I've tried. It really does seem that my brain is better at monitoring background sounds and placing them in the environment since my outer ears are largely unobscured. If I had to rate situation awareness out of 10 where 10 is no headphones and 0 is wearing my Bose QC25 where someone could be shouting at me from 1m away and I wouldn't know these would be a 9. The best I managed before was the Sennheiser PMX 686i which I'd rate about a 6. So, I'm more likely to get some exercise and I'm less likely to get hurt while doing so.Sound quality is acceptable for the situations they are intended for and a bit better than I expected. Let's be clear; we are not talking about the same league as a decent pair of open back headphones. However, voices are clear and listening is enjoyable. The bass response up to about 90dB is good; after that they start bouncing off your head. Mids are good and treble is fine. Treble is quite lacking in detail though there is some there. Volume level is sufficient and I like my headphones loud.Comfort is good for a few hours at a time, as long as you don't mind a bit of a clamp where they contact your face. My head is unusually large and the clamp pressure is not adjustable so I'd expect most people to have a lower clamp pressure. The pressure is much closer to my Bose QC25 than my Sennheiser HD280 pro (which is famous for high clamp pressure). I've actually been wearing them a fair bit turned off since they aren't blocking my ears so I can still interact with people, then at the touch of a button I can put some music back on.I spend quite a lot of time on conference calls and I can leave these on low around the office and still interact with people. The nature of bone conduction does seem to make it somewhat easier to listen to two conversations at once.I'd really appreciate another couple of buttons. I can't launch a voice command nor can I toggle mute status from the headset. Otherwise the Bluetooth implementation is fine, including what sounds like aptX to me.Plus, you get to talk about how your gadget was developed for military special operations.

For me, the sound wasn't good enough to listen to music, with bass sounds almost disappearing and the midrange getting rather flat in quieter sections. I wasn't expecting booming bass (I listen mainly to folk / acoustic) but this was more like listening to a mobile phone speaker.For audiobooks and talk radio it's fine, and it seems well made and was trivially easy to set up and pair.Returned without quibble so +1 for that!
