Things I discovered in 6 months of using these Mellanni sheets (two sets, two beds).
Here are things that you would not perhaps know unless you owned these exact sheets for six months like we have:They are staying together well, no seams have split, no hanging threads. They are thin, so they take up very little room in the laundry hamper and in the washer and dryer when balled up.They are easily air dried on a rack or clothesline due to their thinness. If one likes the feel of freshly washed, crisp sheets, these are not going to be your favorites; even washed and dried, they are never crisp, stiff, tight, or any of those kinds of words. If one likes the feeling of soft sheets, silky, smooth, flowing, then these may be your favorites. They seem colorfast; we bought the gray color and I cannot say they are any dingier or less vibrant than the day we bought them. These microfiber-style, polyester sheets absolutely show oil stains more than cotton sheets, and it does not wash out. This may be particularly true of the darker colored sheet sets and pillowcases. If one uses body oils (e.g Neutrogena Body Oil), Vaselines, skin creams, hair gels, or eats potato chips in bed, you may not like how these sheets look after a few months. This bedding will have you believing that your spouse has ordered a bucket of KFC and ate it at a pajama party while you were at work; don't worry, your wife isn't having an affair with Col. Sanders...it's just the sheets. These sheets have not shrunk and still can be easily placed on the bed. Even the fitted Mellanni sheet with elastic corners, unlike my usual cotton shrinky-dink sheets, doesn't snap up into my kisser while I'm making the bed. Thanks, Mellanni!I hope that was of help to someone considering these sheets. Have a lovely slumber, friends.

I LOVE THESE SHEETS!!!
I usually buy 100% Egyptian cotton and try to get at least 300 thread count or higher; these sheets are by far less expensive and more comfortable than any sheets I've ever had. I bought these almost a year ago and they still look and feel great; I'm sold! - just bought another set and will probably be the sheets I buy from now on.Edited: I might add that the burgundy were the first sheets I bought and I wouldn't call it a true burgundy but more like a rust-red. I just bought the royal blue and they are truly royal blue. I immediately washed them and have them on my bed; same great quality and feel wonderful. I would change one thing about these sheet sets - it would be the pillowcases. The "flap", or I call it the envelope isn't sewn down and kind of flops around a bit but it definitely doesn't affect how comfortable the material is. I'll attach a photo of the burgundy pillowcase so you can see the actual color and also one of the royal blue so you can see what I'm saying about the 'flap' that isn't sewn down and leave an unfinished look to the underside of the pillowcase - the top one (with the design is sewn down. I still LOVE the sheets!

Comfortable and Cool and fits my tall mattress.
I liked these sheets so well I ordered a second set. My most important requirement of the sheets is that they fit the more than my 12β mattress. They do fit the mattress without any stress and stretching by me to get it around the corners of the mattress. So far, with my use as a single person sleeping in the bed, the bottom sheet corners have never slipped loose nor seem inclined to do so. I have found no defects in either sheet set. I ordered the pink set and the pink is very muted, just what I wanted, not white but barely tinted pink. If I had any complaint which I do not have, it would be that manufactures of sheet sets for tall mattresses add about 6 inches width to top sheet to have a better tuck on each side. The sheets are comfortable and the sleeping is cool and so far I am good with my purchase.

My new favorite sheets
I love, love, love these sheets! My favorite sheets for years had been the Pure Beech 100% Modal Jersey Knit sets that I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond, and I didn't know what to get since BB&B closed. So I bought a membership in Consumer Reports to read about sheets. These Mellanni were one of their top rated in the categories I care about: softness, fit, and no piling. These sheets are even better than I expected. They are amazingly soft. I love the way they drape over us. Our mattress is 15", so I got the set with extra deep pockets. They are doing a great job holding the sheet in place, even when my hubby tosses and turns. I got the Lavender, which is really beautiful. These are the sheets I'll buy from now on.

Finally! Cool sheets!
I am a natural fibers kind of girl, as my mother put me in polyester clothing when it was introduced, as my father was employed in the development of the fibers. I absolutely hated polyester, as well as any non-natural clothing. I transitioned to bamboo rayon sheets, then eucalyptus, following years of using cotton sheets, for the softness and smoothness, the drape over the body, and because they were made from natural fibers. Over the years, those sheets have become intolerably hot for me, even in the depths of winter, and keeping my bedroom at 57 degrees.Recently, I searched again for cooling sheets, and read reviews of the all the favorites. #1 were the microfiber Melanni sheets from Amazon, with very positive reviews. I was reluctant because of my affinity for natural fibers. After much consideration, I bought one set of them to try, and from the first night, I slept much more comfortably and cooler than I have in years. I have now bought 5 sets of the Queen Extra Deep Pockets, which fit my bed with mattress top, a full 20β! They are wonderfully soft, smooth, and thin, allowing for escape of the body heat.I highly recommend these sheets for hot sleepers!

deep pockets, very soft, pretty colour, 100% polyester
I ordered these sheets to fit my extra -deep mattress. I need a fitted sheet that will fit a 20" mattress. HBC has a beautiful high quality cotton set, but they cost almost $400! So, I thought about trying these ones. I ordered the Baby Blue, and they are a gorgeous teal colour- not too bright, but not a sky-baby blue. They are very very soft! I washed them a few times now, and if I take them out of the dryer right away, they are not wrinkley. They are nice sheets to sleep in.The sheets are not thick, like cotton sheets in a hotel, but they are nice and comfortable. The advertised photos show the sheets with a very tight fit. In my photo you will see my mattress is 20" deep and I have a mattress cover and electric blanket under the fitted sheet. The elastic is tucked in slightly under my mattress, but there is a lot of excess sheet. I don't mind tucking the sheet a bit more, and it is nice and smooth on the mattress, and looks nice and neat. The pillow cases are pretty and have some nice decorative stitching. They are an envelope style pillow, but you would need a very thick pillow to fill it up. The flap of the envelope does not stay closed, so I can see my pillow inside. However, they feel really nice to sleep on, and if you have a fuller pillow than me, yours will look even better! If you have a standard pillow like me, the pillow case will be a bit baggy, but again, they are pretty and very comfortable to sleep on.I would definitely purchase these sheets again. The price is unbeatable, especially when they are so comfy.
