With the bad drought conditions in Central Texas, it was way past time to water around my home's foundation - I had put it off long enough! I had purchased hoses before for this purpose and they were a disaster - those rubber types that dry up and turn into brittle basically - and didn't really do a very good job dripping... anyway fast forward, had to start over and found these hoses. I was intrigued that they show up flat and seemingly easy to work with. Well - they are just that and more. Makes such a bummer task into a kind of easy, fun one. They work well, it is satisfying to unkink the hose when you turn it on as the water makes its way around your home... (weird I know but it's cool). Nonetheless, I enjoy these - they won't turn to brittle as they are type of cloth or something, they drip really well and they are lightweight, easy to roll up or roll out. I hadn't thought I'd be excited to write a review of a drip hose - but here we are. They cost a bit more but I couldn't be happier with them. Thank you.

I bought a 50' and a 75'. I installed the 50' without any of the restrictor inserts and it did just what I wanted by having a good flow and even distribution from one end to the other. My problem? It only lasted for 10 minutes before it had a big hole in it. I have filled out a return form and they are going to send me a new one at no cost. I will up-date this later if the new one works out. I am not going to install the 75' until I see if the new hose will last longer then the first one.

I purchased multiples of this brand in the smaller 10' size to fit within our 4' x 8' raised bed garden boxes.Each raised bed box gets one hose snaked around the plants and I can hook up my garden hose easily and water the roots well in that bed, letting me tend to weeding or trimming while watering.There is a very slight decrease of water output at the very end of the run, but I lay it around in the bed so that the end is very near the beginning to hit all of the roots as possible. Quite even watering overall.Love the material these are made of... nice and sturdy material that has not split or leaked and have survived the hot summer season well. The ends have a receiving end and also a capped off end (that is removable if one wishes to connect multiple units together.)Just pull them up at the end of the season... drain the water out... and folds up flat for storage. Love that.Recommended.

I was rather disappointed with this product. I had bought it with the intention of using it in our raised bed gardens during the summer months. Initially, everything seemed fine, but over time, we encountered a perplexing issue—some of our plants started wilting.After conducting some tests, we pinpointed the problem: the hose failed to deliver a consistent drip rate. Surprisingly, the front section of the hose seemed to drip excessively, while halfway down, there was no flow at all. Frustratingly, this forced us to remove the hose from the garden beds and resort to manual watering.It's possible that we received a defective unit, but the it certainly left us disappointed with the overall experience.

I've had several versions of soaker hose with two consistent problems. Inconsistent water output and short life.This hose with fabric covering provides a very consistent drop dispersion all along it's length. Longevity will remain to be seen but the covering material is not the type which degrades in the sunlight. Just say that I am expectant that it will be trouble free for several seasons of use.

I bought one & loved it so I bought two more, longer ones. The first one (25 ft) has been in use for less than 6 weeks & has sprung a leak. A LOT of water comes out in the first foot or two of the soaker hose, so not much comes out in the rest of the hose, forcing me to turn the water on much higher to get the far plants watered enough... which then leads to flooding near the beginning.Amazon will allow a return (even tho it's past the 30 day window), but I would have preferred to contact the Seller.Note that I have never had a case where Amazon hasn't provided a refund - you just have to be patient enough to chat with them, sometimes for 30-60+ minutes. :)
