Excellent results so far. Very pleased.
Good, sound product. Light and durable. Easy to assemble. Super array of attachments. Mixes a light, fluffy sponge mixture, and liquidises perfectly for soups etc Very pleased. Does everything I had hoped for. Four stars only reflects fact that I have not yet tried all the attachments.

Kenwood food processor
I am very pleased with this food processor, and it is a powerful machine, and very sturdy on the worktop, smoothies are perfect in the blender, I do a lot of baking making sauces etc and pastry is perfect!. It’s the best I have had, and I have had a few, as I am getting on in years. The price was good, and I took my time choosing to buy it, so go ahead, it is a good machine well built and sturdy and you will not be disappointed, delivery was quick through prime.

Very well madr machine
After having purchased a much cheaper make which only lasted 18 months and was replaced as it was under guarantee and the replacement only lasting 13 months, the Kenwood is much sturdier and so much better built machine in every respect. The smaller extra bowl is so useful as well. I consider it the Rolls Royce of the processor world. You definately get what you pay for!

useful food processoe
The Kenwood food processor, looks good in grey and white, not too heavy and comes with lots of attachmentsHowever the manual is complicated to understand as the instructions are all in diagram format and the numbering is difficult to read as the print is so small. the numbers are not sequential so you are looking up and down the page to find where to find the relevant item.It took some time to go thru the manual diagrams with the bits and pieces to work out how best to assemble it for the different uses.I have not yet used it but keeping my fingers crossed that all will go well.

Advert short sells this steal!
When shopping for a new food processor, there are lots to choose from. When it comes to kitchenware I always like to follow the good brands and Kenwood has historically been one of the best in my kitchen. After looking at all the Kenwood FP's (1~2+) I came across this one star single review advert.I noted that offer price of 54 sterling was a fraction of my local stores and half the price of many other sellers on Amazon. This was sold by Amazon for Kenwood and the description said allow 4-5 weeks. I was'nt pushed about waiting but it arrived in a fraction of that time in any case so I presently surprised and delighted.I also noted that the advert did not mention if all the accessories and jug etc... were included so I googled the part number ('FDP643WH') and the part number did include the full kit. As i only really wanted the main unit (as i was replacing my last Kenwood) I thought what the hell ... lets order it and see what arrives. My new Kenwood FP with all the accessories and jug arrived today! 11 days after I ordered it and at a fraction of the price of others advertised on Amazon. It just goes to show ... do your research (shop around) and you can find a real bargain as I did.I have to say, not sure who wrote the advert for this item, but they really did a terrible job ... this was a real steal that the advert description and imagines had dramatically sold short. 1 negative review out and its the only review about a different supplier than Kenwood, in my view even Amazon's short sells this steal! when the supplier changed to Kenwood.

Bowl shatters like glass when dropped.
Poor sturdiness. The plastic bowl shatters like glass if accidentally dropped on the floor (when trying it out for the first time). I have had a 0.8 litre Moulinex for over 20 years and only wanted to change it for a larger capacity bowl. Kenwood instruction manual is useless in terms of identifying product numbers for spare parts. There are too many translations in it that I do not need and NONE of them say that the plastic bowl shatters like glass which is a danger to pets, children's feet etc. OF COURSE! Designers are idiots using that type of plastic.

Not fit for purpose - shaky, unsteady. Don't waste your money and time!
I did read the reviews before I ordered this processor. I am aware that ometimes what some people are more critical of or complain about may not seem all that bad to someone else. As the reviews were both good and bad, I decided to take a chance.I wish I hadn't.I received the processor quickly. It arrived unsealed - the box was closed and the contents were all bagged and appeared new, but the product box was not sealed with tape of any kind.I assembled the product to ensure that all the parts were there and were in working order. There is a base insert that goes into the motor base an up through the processor bowl/s. This just fits in and has no way of being secured. Therefore, it is shaky and unsteady. When the blade is then placed inside, or the discs, they shake and wobble, making it not sturdy or fit for purpose.Additionally, upon placing the slicing/shredding discs on into position, there were large gaps between the edge of the disc and the side of the bowl, which would result in large bits of food spilling out without being cut to desired consistency. There appears to be somewhat of a guard to go atop the disk and keep food from falling out, but if that is indeed what it is for, when the lid is placed on the bowl and you try to secure it, it is a very tight fit and difficult to lock in place. I also worried that food would get caught in the small gaps between the 'guard' and the blade and could cause blockage and put stress on the parts and motor.I also tested the blender. Whilst it locked into place and the lid seems secure and fits well, the motor was so loud!! I've had older machines that barely hummed in comparison to the sound this one made.Overall, most unhappy with this product from what is usually a very good brand.I have requested a return for the item and would not recommend it to anyone based on my observations.
