I purchased 3 of these as christmas presents. They felt well made and sturdy but I did have to gently open the wings prior to wrapping. All 3 came in one box so wrapping them individually was awkward and it would have been nice to have a care label on each set. All 3 recipients were very pleased with their gifts and delighted to watch them spin and rock in the wind. I will probably end up purchasing one for myself once I get my garden sorted.

The pin this pivots on is very poorly made and the bowl it sits in is (as i now see reported by other reviewers) has a lump of weld in the centre so there is nowhere for the pin to go other than jammed on one side meaning it does not rotate. A friend bought a very similar one for me from national trust, one key difference, pin and bowl well made so spins as expected.

The item came but the centre balance point was bent an manufacture, returned item, received refund. Would have purchased replacement but they had sold out.Mr Turner

Bought this as a gift for my sister who loves her garden. It is lovely and she sits and watches it from her conservatory. It is well made balanced and moves well in the wind. Going to buy again for gifts

I must admit, when I opened the package I did think there is no way this product is going to cope with the windy area I live in. I expected to see it broken within days - how wrong I was! I love watching them spin in the wind and a year on they are still going strong- I can't recommend them enough.

Simple and effective. Not too sure on design of how the moving part attaches or more tentatively balances on planting pole. But so far is in situ! Bought as a dual purpose garden ornament with the intention of providing moving interest for my cat. Arrived quickly and within indicated time. Quality good for price paid.

Arrived promptly but didn't balance on set-up. Was told to bend into shape by the vendor!!! Don't they have a QC testing before they leave manufacturing?? Disappointed.
