I've been practicing green witchcraft for about two years now but felt a bit of a disconnection with it, like it wasn't quite everything my spirit was searching for. Reading this reminded me of how connected to nature I was in my childhood and how I would go outside to sing and dance and run, which now I attribute to the Awen. Or how all day I'd listen to the trees whisper to each other and I'd nap on the branches of this one tree in my backyard. Fully believe in Druidry now, it perfectly aligns with my beliefs I held prior to discovering it. Also, I highly recommend folks listen to Druidcast on Spotify if they're further interested in Druids- they interview people and have recordings of live performances. I think it's also on YouTube by the OBOD (I think).

I hope this comes off respectfully, as I truly appreciate Ms Hill’s intent here.This reads like a well notated college essay that comes in around 100 pages.It doesn’t go very much into depth on any particular subject, which I found slightly frustrating (for example, the section on how to create an altar only tells you to do so, without really explaining the size and crafting procedures, and says “you may wish to make a travel altar as well” without saying what that actually consists of).That said, it is an excellent source for finding different Druid Groves and resources from external orders, so you can use this guide to point yourself in the direction that speaks to you.I want to thank Ms Hill for putting this together as a beginning step, but I think the title (Everything You Need to Know about Druid Magic, Solitary Druids, and Celtic Spirituality) is inaccurate.

This book gives a pretty good overview of Druidism for the beginner. It gives a basic explanation between ancient Druidism and modern Druidism, the beliefs, tools, wheel of the year, and other basics. This is an excellent beginners guide to Druidism! The author touches on many of the important aspects of this ancient spirituality. This is based on the Kindle version found in the Unlimited library. The writing structure is chaotic and it seems like the information for each chapter is not structured and the titles are misleading, such as Chapter 8 referring to Ogham and Tree Magic, but the author doesn't cover the Ogham AT ALL. Each chapter seems to give some information but at the same time not really anything worthwhile. I did pick up a couple things from reading this but I struggled to get through it. The author is good at giving the reader generic/general directions but doesn't really delve into any details for anything.Looking at the References page, I am guessing the reader could probably just skip this book entirely and check out the websites listed.

This book was very informative and helpful to me. It opened up a whole new world of Druid culture for me that I wasn't aware of or paid attention to. I enjoyed learning about the Celtics. Definitely recommend this good read.
