Melissa & Doug Easel Companion Accessory Set

As the title says this really is the best easel I've seen, especially for the price.It's slightly fiddly to put together but 1 person can do it alone in about 30 minutes ( I did it alone ) but two people would have it together in no time at all.When it's up it looks very impressive. The chalk and white board surfaces are very large so there is a lot of space for drawing/painting ect. I like how it can be used for many things. At the moment my son is only interested in the chalk side but in time he will be using the whiteboard and the paper roll to make more permanent art work :-)The added bonus with this easel compared to others I've seen is that it will grow with your child. I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old and have it on its lowest setting. As he grows the boards and trays can be put higher up. I can honestly say that I think he will be playing with this for many years to come :-)You only get the easel (no accessories) but that's been no problem. Paper rolls are pretty cheap at ELC and paint and chalks can be bought fairly inexpensively most places. I did consider getting the Melissa and doug accessory set but I decided against it as you don't seem to get much for the money. Instead I bought the m+d paint pots (I wanted them to fit the tray properly) and have bought other supplies elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.If you want an easel that is sturdy and will last for many years then this is the one to get!

Loved this toy and educational resource so much - bought twice as gifts for daughter and niece. They love it. It’s great value for money magnets, chalk, paper and a marker included. I had to order other whiteboard markers separate- because this only comes with one - I’m not deducting any stars simply because it’s great value for money as it comes with magnets, chalks and paper. It’s a wonderful toy and great Table Top design stores away easily. Only one piece of advice for young children who are learning to use pencils and pens - just put some tape over the wooden trim at the top - just so it doesn’t get marked - so you can keep it looking lovely - it’s such a beautiful design you will want to keep it and use for many years!

I first spotted these brushes at mum son's nursery, they believed they are the best available on the market so I did not hesitate to order them. Melissa & Doug is brand I trust and these brushes are a fantastic!The thick handle and shape means you child can hold and manipulate the brush well, whilst encouraging them to hold it correctly. The bristles are very high quality and apply the paint very smoothly. They have been used more times than I can remember and wash well and are always as good as new, ready to create another masterpiece. I tend to colour coordinate the paint colour with the brush, which is really helping my 20 month old son learn his colours.Simply fantastic! I hope this review was helpful.

I love this easel and have bought it for my other grandchildren before . It’s sturdy and the variable height options are helpful .My husband and I both felt that the instructions to make the item were not the best . It’s our second easel and we thought exactly the same last time . Parts / diagrams are not clear and it’s irritating that it takes two intelligent adults a considerable time to construct an easel.

Arrived promptly, as expected, good quality paper and the cheapest I could find, however as a nursery school that uses a lot of paper, these rolls are ridiculously over priced and not entirely successful as the children tend to tear their lovely paintings when trying to take them off the easel. it annoys me that painting easels are all going this way rather than providing good strong paper clips at the top of the easel that the children can use as they used to, to put up and take down individual sheets of paper as they want to paint. SOMEBODY PLEASE DESIGN A GOOD QUALITY WOODEN PAINTING EASEL WITH STRONG BUT DURABLE CLIPS FOR 3 TO 5 YEAR OLDS AT A REASPONABLE PRICE

Love everything about this blackboard,whiteboard, paint board, very sturdy, easy to assemble. My Granddaughter has hours of fun with hers. Very educational, as you can teach them to write, draw and paint with it. So much easier than doing it on paper and asking them to copy it. I really recommend this.

I bought this for my grandson and my daughter had very specific requirements. It is of good quality, will last for several years and has so many options. There is an option for painting with non spill cups with lids, using a roll of paper for drawing and for use as a chalk board. The fact that there are ledges to put paints and crayons on make it all the more practical. Although it comes recommended for age 3+, my grandson is only 2 but is still able to use it easily. The easel is quite tall making it likely to last him a long time as he grows into it.

I ordered to go with the Melissa and Doug easel paint set as the brushes included were only small. These are great for little hands and fit the pots perfect without tipping them.

A mi hija le encantó fue su regalo de Navidad y nos encantó que tiene dos caras y opción de usarlo con marcdores, gises y pinceles. Si es un poco costoso, considera que hay que comprar todos los accesorios como rollo de papel para pinturas, gises, vasitos para enjuagar los pinceles, pinceles, borrador, marcadores, etc por separado, pero se ve de buena calidad y durable pues es de madera.

I don’t have the space for a big easel so I bought this instead and my 18 month old loves it. I put it on a kids table and it’s the perfect height. Great quality and folds up easily for storage. Worth the money.
