Insane Reaper Peanuts - Hot as Hell Seasoned Peanuts 2 x 80g - Twin Pack

Anyone buying these knows about Carolina reaper peppers, so knows to expect heat. These are very hot, but I think how hot depends on your natural tolerance to spicy heat. If you don't like spicy food these will seem unbearable and I'd only give you one peanut to try. If you like spicy food and are used to heat in your mouth, then these are surprisingly bearable to eat considering the "reaper" name. Don't get me wrong, they are hot, but it really depends on your tolerance to heat. Those people in the comments screaming about dying are just people that never eat spicy food. Don't be scared of them, they actually taste pretty good and would be good crushed up and put in a Thai dish.

Initially, I was going to write a review, questioning the existence of these peanuts, perhaps thinking that maybe they had a place on the table, for criminals who have committed despicable acts.They tasted absolutely disgusting and they, what I can only describe through imagination, left on my tongue, the sensation of eating a bucket of hot coals and then chasing it down with a mouthwash of Listerine.I viewed them as a novelty and a waste of money......HOWEVER!All that changed when the next night, I decided that I wasn't going to rush to the fridge and down a cows annual milk output; instead, I decided to go all in.One packet. Small handful by small handful.EPIPHANY!My sensory nervous system was making them taste horrible, to trick me into avoiding the pain.As each munch brought pain, it also bore insight.I felt like Morpheus was beside me, going on a profound monologue about reality.Was the pain real?It was when I began to believe I could stick the pain, the taste of the Carolina reaper, really started to taste nice. Not just nice, but actually, really, honest-to-God, genuinely, unbelievably nice.I wouldn't eat another full packet of them as my stomach felt upset after, for about 15 min or so.I'd like to see Chilli Wizards putting out recyclable shot glasses filled with an individual portion of them, as I've been using a ziplock bag, which is far from ideal.I don't want to be graphic, but the passing isn't as bad as is made out.IN SUMMARYAn interesting experience, and a good test of will makes these nuts, at the very least, worth trying and at the most, quite enjoyable.

Very tasty, not just hot hot hot!!

So….10mins after having a mouth of nuts and sucking an ice cube I can finally write a message. This is insanely hot. I’m fond of hot foods and have tried Carolina chilli before, but this was different. Normally, I could take another bite/mouth full in a few minutes, I’m not trying this again today. The pain is solid 10/10 and relentless, I think I’ve lost about a kilo of weight and the endorphins released after are equivalent to a runners high. Flavour- there’s plenty but I couldn’t identify it as the heat basically moved all my flavour tasting cells to my stomach in fear. It’s definitely worth trying if you have something on your mind, any worry you have will immediately be replaced with renewed sense of “I just want to get through the next 10mins”. So buy if you want to see if you can do it. This is just a challenge. I wouldn’t prank this on anyone who doesn’t have a good tolerance to chilli, even then make sure you have ice cream, cubes, milk and a knife (plenty of people live happy lives without tongues) Have fun - you’ve been warned!

Hotter than I thought they would be! I bought 6 packs for an office challenge.... we've just shared a trial pack in preparation for next week's challenge..... who can eat a whole pack (one nut at a time) without drinking anything.The men seem less affected by the heat than the ladies, but most agreed: these are HOT! They do have a nice flavour, imagine the hottest Bombay mix and that's what they taste of.

I was not convinced when I read some of the reviews on this page. I have a reasonable tolerance for spicy food, and I expected the heat of these nuts to be all hype.I was wrong.Holy mother of God these burn. I mean, REALLY burn.Imagine setting off small thermonuclear explosion on every taste-bud in you mouth... all at once! That's the kind of hot I'm talking about.I was in agony.I immediately ordered some more. Superb!

These were great fun!! Seriously spicy! Anyone that says they're not is either lying or simply has no taste buds!
