Great Pencil Sleeve
I've only had the product for a couple weeks. I'm not sure about the durability yet, but I'm not having any initial problems with how it's made. Cons: It'll charge when placed directly on the iPad, but if any case is between the iPad and pencil, it WILL NOT charge with the sleeve on. I have the Zugu Muse case. It fits in the charging holder, but does not charge. The two layers combined are just too thick between the iPad and pencil. Just slightly pop that edge of the iPad out of the case and connect the pencil. It's easier to uncover the iPad edge than to keep taking the sleeve off. Other cases may have more of a problem, so choose your accessories wisely!! But another con with pairing this sleeve with this case is that the pencil + sleeve is too thick to place in the back pencil storage area. You can shove it in there, but it's a very tight fit and would prob mess up that part of the Zugu after a while. I wouldn't strain the expensive case to use a cheap sleeve. BUT I have a small backpack I put my iPad in to carry it around, so leaving the pencil + sleeve in the charging slot (as a pencil holder) is no problem since its stored in my bag. So you will need another place to store yours if you have a Zugu case and want these Pencil sleeves, and don't want the pencil to fall off while carrying. Pros are that the sleeve itself is good. I have the 2nd Gen pencil and the dual orange and red to imitate the pencil look. But I purposefully left a bit of white showing between the colors so it looks even more like a pencil. It charges perfectly without a case on, and the double tap works 100% of the time. It's also soft to touch. I love the sleeve! The cons aren't a problem for me at all because I already knew it'd be a problem beforehand, and they're very easy to work around.

Cute color and fits perfectly
Nice and lightweight. Putting it on the Apple pen was a bit difficult, it took about 5/6ish minutes. Other than that it's cute and it fits my Apple Pen Pro perfectly only leaving a tiny gap between the pen and the tip. It also fits in my iPad case and charges when I align it properly (flat part towards iPad)

OMGG?! cuteee😭😍
yooo this pen sleeve is so cuteeee! and it went on so easily ! I'm so glad i didn't have to struggle with that. it definitely feels good in my hand, it is light weight and not too thick. It’s the perfect size for my apple pencil pro. It charges perfectly fine. and it’s aesthetically pleasing to look at! 😍 **EDIT! - I am back to remove a star after using this sleeve for some time. It definitely slips down WAY too often when I’m writing, drawing, etc.. I literally don’t use it at all anymore. It is cute though.**

Nice little cover
I bought this for my Apple Pencil Pro just so I don’t scuff it when I do and if I do drop it. So far I haven’t because the silicone itself makes it not slippery at all, it also adds virtually no weight and it feels solid. It is a little tough to put on as it is silicone, and it fits very snug. I do have a 3rd party pencil tip on it as well, and the magnet still works as intended as well as charging it magnetically.

Prevents wireless charging but still fine
Update: Oops! It's actually the increased distance from pen to charging surface area created by *a combination* of this grip cover and my case (Zugu's "Muse Case") that prevents wireless charging. Can't really fault AhaStyle for only making their grip cover compatible with Apple's official case. Just keep that in mind when choosing your case (Zugu's is still awesome) and whether to get a grip cover at all. ------------- Original review: Would give 3.5 stars if I could. It does everything you really need a grip cover to do, and does it super cheaply. Pros: - The only truly cheap accessory you'll ever buy for an iPad Pro. - Low profile. - Definitely helps you grip the slippery pen surface better. - Pretty easy to remove. - Should add some protection from scuffs. Cons: - Prevents wireless charging. This is the only major demerit. My initial instinct was initiate a return and leave a bad review. But the truth is that because the pencil has decent battery life and charges quickly, and because the cover is pretty easy to remove, it's not that big a deal to just occasionally slip it off and charge the pencil for a bit. For the price I think it's a perfectly livable problem. - The outside has a small but noticeable raised seam resulting from the manufacturing process. Not a functional issue, but on a super expensive accessory for a super expensive device, it will irk some users. - It's hard to say this with certainty, but I suspect the magnetic grip is slightly reduced by the cover. This might just be an inherent drawback of using covers, and I think it's worth the trade-offs.

Great ONLY while it lasted
I really appreciated the color coding and really liked that the cap was a different color. My first concern was that the cap would easily fall off, but it stayed in place... AT FIRST (we will also touch base on this). The main cover also went on a bit warped but quickly fell into place as I used the pencil. In the beginning, it was exactly what I needed and it went really well with my ipad case. An added bonus was that the pencil could still charge and still fit into the pencil portion of my ipadpro case simultaneously. HOWEVER about 2 months later, I noticed that the case seemed to ease up towards the tip so I realized it was stretching. It didn't inconvenience my writing or my use of the pencil so I would just ease it back into place. It wasn't until about 4 months after I put on the cover that I noticed a tear exactly midway through the case. The tear was nearly imperceptible and looked more like a stray cat hair so I hadn't noticed it sooner. That being said, I continued to use the case as I honestly couldn't be bothered to go online to purchase another and it didn't impede my work. I also just really liked the color combination and the cap stayed put throughout this entire process. Until about 2 months ago when I noticed that it too was starting to just move around and I would often have to push it back down between use. Yesterday, it finally disappeared and I simply can not find it. I wanted to chalk up the initial issue with the tear as just a defective product or maybe it was bc of the added friction of my storing the pencil in the ipad pro case. However, I realized it just might be the material itself. The cap eventually gave out too and it had no visible defects from what I could remember. tldr: It's a relatively cheap product that does its job well until it eventually gives out at about 3-4 months. I want to go on the market to find another alternative, but I love the dual color design so much that I'm torn between giving this another shot and just going with a different brand.

Great with the Apple Smart Cover on ipad
I bought this pair of Apple pencil covers for the improved ability to grip without pinching the nerves in my fingers while I draw, and specifically for being able to keep the Pencil attached to my ipad without having to take off the cover from the pencil. The ipad has an Apple Smart Cover on it, so it can still magnetically pair the pencil to the ipad and charge it when not in use. I've been using them for a couple of months now, and I never want to use my Apple Pencil without one. These covers have a nice matte finish to them, and a lot of color options to pick from. The covers don't really move around on the pencil, and have been pretty durable so far to being shoved into a purse or bag - no scuff marks or other visible damage yet. It may not be the most ergonomic solution out there, but the trade-off between perfect ergonomics and still being able to keep the Apple pencil paired with the ipad is worth it to me.

Started Out Fine, Then Became Too Loose
I liked the idea of adding a little extra protection and grip to my Apple Pencil, but this case didn't work well for me in practice. Initially, the fit seemed fine, but the silicone stretched out fairly quickly with regular use. Once the material loosened, the Apple Pencil would constantly slide out of the sleeve's back end. I found myself repeatedly pushing it back into place, which became frustrating during everyday use. The loose fit also made me less confident that the case was actually protecting the Pencil if it were dropped. The material itself feels soft and comfortable, but the stretched silicone and poor retention ultimately outweighed the benefits for me. If you're looking for a snug, long-term fit, this may not be the best option.
