It's great. Because of the slim body it's not that loud acoustically but plug her in and your off. This size uke is very suitable for beginners the soprano can be a bit cramped on the fingerboard.

At first I was disappointed that it was so small, I was expecting a Tenor, but my wife also plays and it suits her perfectly.It would be a lot better if it had some tone adjustment as the output is a little harsh.I note that although a guarentee card was attached to the instrument where it says No; there is no serial number, also the ukulele itself has no serial number, does this mean that there is no warranty?

Great sound when used with or without amp. Stays in tune between plays. Good tone.

I bought this because I found that a soprano was slightly too small for my short fat fingers to easily play some chords. Although the frets are only slightly larger on a concert, it's much more comfortable to play.Epiphone have obviously listened to some of the earlier customer reviews, as mine came fitted with Aquila strings as standard. I was also impressed that all the strings were in the right key, although not quite in tune, straight out of the box. Suggesting that someone had taken the time to set up the strings before dispatch.Acousitcally it sounds very nice. But, as other people have mentioned, rather quiet. Even with the Aquila strings. Plugged into an amp it sounds much better, especially if you dial in just a little bit of overdrive.The build is generally excellent. My only complaint is that the plastic pick guard has not been very well glued down, and is starting to lift very slightly around the sound hole. That, and the surprisingly quiet acoustics are the reason for giving only 4 stars.

Lovely feel. Easy to play and change chord hand positions. Very good weight and looks amazing. When plugged sounds even better!!!

By far the best ukulele I’ve ever had the pleasure to play. Although slightly dull sounding, when plugged in she sings! Couldn’t recommend this anymore!

Beautiful quality uke, you have to see it to believe it... the build is gorgeous and even the included bag is lovely. Such a cute item, you will not be disappointed!!!

Now I'm not a Uke player, but I've a Les Paul so decided to get this in the Lightning deal. It looks great, great finish, looks just like an LP etc.Being shallow and fairly thick the sound probably isn't as good as many other Ukes, but I just wanted to note that a lot of bad press around the sound I've seen relates to the cheap strings that are on it when they ship it.I just wanted to update that the model I received has Aquila Nylgut strings on, which is what people recommend you should change the stock ones to. It seems to sound better than the videos I've seen of stock strung models. Annoying as I bought a set of those strings to swap over right away, but now I have a spare set

A beautiful instrument with high quality construction. Amazing sound when plugged into an amp. Does not require batteries as indicated in Amazon listing. Did not work when plugged into a powered speaker. An amp is required. The strings are low quality but fine to learn on. In particular, the C string goes out of tune frequently. Small problem with an easy remedy of string replacement.

l'ukulele è semplicemente bellissimo, la fattura è ottima nonostante sia un prodotto cinese! ben rifinito e buoni materiali, il sono non è per niente male, migliora tantissimo collegato ad un amplificatore.si suona veramente bene.la spedizione è stata velocissima e l'imballaggio è stato a dir poco scrupolosissimo.
